What is it like? I have never been, saw the sign for it last year and was wondering if it was worth doing or not. We plan to be there next year for two weeks, so we have time for it if it is good.

The pavilion is behind where the hoop-de-do is held (pioneer hall) The food consist of ribs,chicken, hotdogs, potato salad etc. The beer wine and soda are included. We went in june and there were at least 500 people, the lines moved quickly for food and the beer was cold ! There is a country band that plays, line dancing class, a champion roper that does tricks with a whip ( a big hit with 10 & 8 y/o boys) and character greeting with Mickey Minnie and Goofy (cant recall who else) We had a good time despite the rain and I will go back again if it is offered while we are there.

We had fun food was good. And yes it is worth it.

Is this offered in November, as we were talking about doing it during our November (Thanksgiving) visit ???? Please say Yes !

We were there for TD last year and inquired about going to the BBQ for TD food instead of cooking ourselves and YES it was open. We had some other family members that could not (or would not) afford it so we missed out, but will do it in 2002!

Have a geart time - BTY they were doing more of turkey day fare on that day.

It usually runs until the end of November, although when we were there two years ago it ended on November 16th. At that time it was held only on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30. For reservations call 407-WDW-DINE.

Just called for ressies and there is no BBQ on Thursday November 22th. Just the 20th and 27th. It starts again in February.
