Backstage corridor during parades

It’s been a few years since we’ve been and I’m constantly mixing up the layout of DL and WDW in my brain. Are there corridors behind the Main Street buildings in WDW? And, more importantly, have they been opening them during the daytime parades this week? (We need to leave one day right around noon for a lunch reservation and I’m trying to figure out if we’ll get trapped by the parade?)

There are corridors, but they do not open them for parades. However, they keep the walkways on either side of Main Street moving. It might take a few extra minutes, but you won't get trapped.

FWIW, the only time I have seen the corridors open was during a nighttime firework show

The only potential issue is if you are over on the side where Splash/Big Thunder/Haunted Mansion is and you need to get across. Just make sure you aren't on that side when the parade starts and you can get out.

It is always possible to get out, it would just mean a much longer way around. There is a wooden path that runs beside the water that guests can take to leave Frontierland. It's not the most direct route to leave the park but a parade never stops a person from leaving.

Never said you couldn't get out. But you are going to increase your time significantly if you by Splash and have to exit via Tomorrow Land. I said it's something to keep in mind
