Backpack or Fannypack????

My vote is for the backpack. I like to carry my camera in it, which would take up an entire fanny pack , but I also like to carry any souvenirs that I buy. I can't stand carrying around sacks and I don't like to wait until the end of the day because the shops are so busy, so I just stick them in my backpack and I'm off. I also carry my deodorant so I can freshen up during the day if it is extremly hot.

WishingOnAStar~ Thank you so much for the compliment on my name. It is VERY rare to come acoss another Miranda. My dad was a police officer so he named me after the Miranda Rights. Everyone thinks that is very funny when they find out the reasoning behind my name. Miranda Leigh is a very pretty name. It is difficult to find a middle name that sounds right with "Miranda." My middle name is Meriam (family middle name).
What section at Wal-Mart did you find the fannypacks? I think that is what I have decided on. I am just not sure where to look. Thank you so much

That is TOO funny - my dad is cop, too. And all his friends laughed when he told them his granddaughter was named Miranda!

The fanny packs were in the handbag section at WalMart.

We are almost neighbors! That is really cool. I was just in PC about a month ago. My boyfriend and I went to Shipwreck Island for the day. I LOVE that place. I'm glad I don't live in PC because I would live at Shipwreck and go broke! My boyfriend lives in Niceville and we always visit Destin so we are even closer to you then!

Actually, I got the name when I saw the movie, "Chances Are" with Mary Stuart Masterson - she plays a daughter of lawyers and they named her Miranda. When I told my family of my idea (mind you - I was only 15), my dad thought it was neat because he was a cop!

I take NO bag with me. Camera around my neck, and money, i.d. and room key are all in my pocket. I like to travel light! I put on the sun lotion in my room, and re-apply when we take our PM break. All packages are sent to the hotel.

For the times I need a bag for some reason, I used to be in the fanny pack camp, but lately I've really enjoyed taking my small back pack. The bag can stay at my feet for 99% of the rides, has more space, and is great for lugging small packages around for when I go shoping. But I also tend to travel to WDW in the colder months, and therefore need the extra space from my light jacket when I'm not wearing it. But again, lately, I've tried not to bring a bag at all!

I carry an Ameribag healthy bag backpack. It is wonderful for days when I need to carry all the necessities. It only has one strap and the zipper is on the underside next to your shoulder for security. It also has many pockets to get me organized. I have the extra small and have used it for 3 years and it still looks new. I have a hard time switching back to my regular purse after vacation.

They sell several different disney fannypacks at Disney.

Last year I had a fannypack and my husband said I looked like a dork. It was kinda hot around the waist too. I too saw the cute little Jansport backpacks and thought about getting one of them In the same section they had Jansport purses. They were a little smaller and slung over the shoulder. I used it this year and it was great! I had plenty of room for my digital camera, wallet sunscreen, etc.

I prefer to carry a bag on my back as compared to my waist and I like to carry more than I need... but I hate trying to find a place to stick the backpack when I'm going on rides, especially the faster rides. If you're going to take a backpack, I would suggest a smaller one... they have some real cute ones that are closer in size to a purse and they can be worn like a backpack. Have fun on your trip!

The style name of the Jansport purse that I was talking about is Shadow. They have it on ebags, but I got my bag at Kohl's.
