My name is Kate. I'm 24 years old and the mother of a 5 month old little lady, Rory. I am self employed. I am the artistic director/owner of Studio K, a dance studio here in my hometown. That is where the problem lies...

I have been dancing since I was 3 years old. By the time I was in high school, I was going to class 4 days a week for 5-6 hours a night. I was slim, in shape, but not THIN. I don't have a "thin" body type. I graduated high school at 145 pounds and I looked good! I was never comfortable because I as comparing myself to my sister. (She's SKINNY!!) Looking back on those pictures, I looked healthy, strong and GREAT. My legs especially! :) I'd loooove to get back to that look. (I also am large chested and that makes up a bulk of my body issues. I spend a good chunk of my life trying to disguise my chest.)

Currently, 5 months post delivery, weight 188 pounds. UGHHHHHHHHHHHH. That's so not good, especially for a dance teacher.

I need to set some goals and I need to be held accountable for my goals.

SO. Here we go! Weigh Ins will be on Wednesdays.

[Food Plan for today:
(Need that protein before I go to teach for 6 hours!)

You should be eating 5-6 times per day and (lean) protein should be eaten at every single meal (in addition to the other healthy foods). (cottage cheese, greek yogurt (not Dannon or Yoplait), lean turkey, egg whites, beans and nuts. You have a job that requires great physical stamina, if you don't eat the right way, you will be binging. Don't set yourself up for that. Are you tracking your meals in a log? Please do. You will lose more weight (it is proven). Good luck to you ballerina!!!
