Back to Back Cruises

I've been reading some threads where people do back to back Wonder cruises. Why wouldn't you just book a 7 day cruise? Just trying to understand what the difference/advantage is.

For us, it was four factors:
The days (Thurs. to Sun. and Sun. to Thurs. rather than the Sat. departures) were more convenient for us.
We were sailing with friends on one of the three cruises.
Multiple visits to Castaway Cay.
I love the Wonder!

And is some cases the difference is the cost. We are able to do back to back 4 night and 3 night cruises on the Wonder for $1,000 less than a 7 night cruise on the Magic for the same week. It all depends on the time of year and what type of discounts you can get on each. Plus, not having to use an additional vacation day to fly in on a Friday,

After being on both ships I must agree too... I LOVE the WONDER!
