If you want to book back-to-back cruises, will DCL try to keep you in the same cabin, and will they allow you to stay on the ship while in port between sailings???

"Inkkognito" or "atigeg" would know the answer to this question. Barb and Tony are going to do three back to back cruises on the Wonder. There also is a couple in the new Disney Magizine (Summer 2002 page 12) that has cruised 13 times. They sailed for 14 total days straight. One week on the Magic, followed by 2 consecutive sailings on the Wonder 4 day then 3 day. I hope Barb and Tony don't get any ideas about 14 day sailings. lol!!! Though, three cruises straight on the Wonder total 10 or 11 days.

This was our original plan for this fall, but unfortunately we had to change things.

We had the same cabin booked for both cruises. We were told that we could leave our bags on board but we had to get off the ship while it cleared customs.

We hope to do it next summer on back-to-back Magic cruises, 1 eastern, 1 western.

seems like i read a post on this a while back, and you can do this. however, you will have to debark when the ship gets in port, and reboard if i remember correctly.

I am pretty sure when Barb sees this, she will know the answer, cause it might have been her post that i saw this on not too terribly long ago.

back to back Magic cruises sound wonderful! Can I take my kids with me on the first one and leave them at the dock on the second one??? LOL :D  :D

Disney6,

i about bust a gut laughing when i read your post. If you find the answer out to that one please let me know.

DH and I did back-to-back last Sept on the Magic ( 3 day and 7 day) while the Wonder was in dry dock. This year we are scheduled for back-to-back western and eastern in Sept.

I have seen this seveal times, and it seems there is no "one" answer.A couple who cruised with us last year did back to back and did not have to get off the ship. But others who have done this did. I do know that bills have to be settled, tips ect done. Then you must "check in" again at guest services to open another account. Also you can not book Palos, or Spa for the 2nd trip until your 2nd trip starts.

Yep, we're doing three on the Wonder, and we have the same stateroom booked for all three. We were told that we can probably stay on the ship, but that is subject to change because it will depend on Customs. We start this adventure the Thurs. before Labor Day, so I'll let everyone know how it goes (and yes, Tony is already begging to do two back-to-back on the Magic, but I have been able to fend him off because almost all of our vacation time is spoken for through the end of 2003).

Very interesting. I would love to be able to go back to back sometime. It would be really cool given the alternating intineraries now.

Is there a price break for booking back to backs? How does a 3 +4 night Wonder cruise cost compare to a 7 night Magic?

We are doing back-to-back Magic cruises in October. I have heard that you won't find out if you can stay on the ship until the night before.

We're doing back to back Wonder cruises in October. We have the same stateroom on both and were told we would be able to stay on. Can't say for sure until after. As far as cost, I don't think there is a break to do 2. We're using the $99 vouchers for the 3 day and paying straight up for the 4 day.

OHHH I'm so jealous!!!! Back to back cruises sound like so much fun!! I'll have to try to convince DH to do this someday!

Ojkay guys what's the secret as to how to PAY for back to back cruises - Its hard enough for one cruise and that's a 4 day one! I must be in the wrong kind of work - Anybody need a new employee???:D

We are sailing on DVC points for the 10-12 cruise and booked the 10-19 cruise last October while on board for a great rate!

Denine;

Thats an idea (if we can get a great rate) because we are sailing with points although we had to borrow a few from next year.
