Our trip was a great time for all. We started at OKW and stayed in one of the new buildings in a GV. It was next to the elevator and it was so nice not having to walk the steps . It was a handicapped room because we had asked for wheel chairs. We didn't asked for it but it was fine. The weather was great. It rained on Tues, but we hadn't planned a park trip that day so we went shopping at Downtown Disney. The room was just as nice as always. Someone had put a big scratch on the wood floor, it is a shame people don't take better care when they stay somewhere. Our blender didn't work and they brought us one very quickly. The GV was very clean. We headed to VB on Fri and stayed in cottage 1150. I wasn't very happy with it because you could only see the ocean from the sides. Lots of trees right in front of the ocean view. I believe the other cottages have better views. I tried to check them out as best I could. The door to the porch on the back side facing the ocean would not stayed closed. I reported it on Fri but it never got fixed. At least it was safe, no one could get in that door. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. In fact it had extra coffee and tea. It was set up better for 12 people. At OKW they need extra coffee and tea when there are 12 in the room. VB is very nice and beautiful. Over all the trip was great and very much up to the standards you expect from Disney and we did get the great
"WELCOME HOME". Oh, I meant to tell you we ate at a wonderful place at VB. It is called 2002. It is about a 20 minute drive. It had great food. The front desk at VB can tell you how to get there. It was not in their book. I had a walnut crusted chicken breast with sweet potatoes that was just perfect.

happy to see you had a great trip. In regards to the coffee and tea, we always throw a can of coffee and a small box of teabags in the luggage so we always have enough. dave:cool:

What a wonderful trip! Was it nice to unwind at Vero after doing WDW? A few days of rest & relaxation sound like the perfect ending to a WDW trip.

I'm glad you had such a good time! Thanks for sharing - I love reading trip notes!
