back from OKW

hi all, we just returned yesterday from our 5 night stay at OKW, this was our first trip as DVC owners. the resort is beautiful and everyone was very friendly and helpful. we got there about 9:00 am and they did not have our assigned room available so they sent us to a room that was, so when we arrived we seen that it was non smoking so i called back to front desk and thay told me to come back and they would get us another room, so when we went back they had our original room ready it was room 2512 which was great. i lust could not believe how big the room was, it was just out of this world. there was a couple of things abot the room,1st the outside doors on the balcony was filthy, looked like mold or something all over them and the glass on the doors and it was also all around the windows it was pretty bad,2nd they left just like 6 towels for us and there were 6 people, so instead of bothering anyone we just washed them everyday, and 3rd the drain for our tub was the loudest thing i have ever heard, the first night i was cleaning the jets after everyone went to bed so i could set and enjoy the jacuzzi in peace and quiet well after cleaning the water was draining and it woke everyone up.
but all in all we loved OKW and cant wait to stay there again

Glad you liked the place.
They have a set number of towels for the units, regardless of how many people there are.
I would have called the dirt to the attention of housekeeping, they would have taken care of that.
The drain, well, they are all loud. Just girgles away.
What size unit did you have?

Thanks for sharing your observations about your OKW stay. I would have let housekeeping know about the outside doors. I encourage anyone who has a housekeeping &/or engineering concern to let them know. The jacuzzi drains are loud, but I guess we've gotten used to them - enjoying the jacuzzi makes up for it .

we had a 2 bedroom, we just cleaned the door and glass ourselves.
