I just got back from the rainiest week at Disney, but it was still a lot of fun.

We left last Saturday morning about 6am, and drove 14 hours till we got there.

Sunday we went to the MK, it started raining about 4pm I would say, but only lasted about 10 minutes. My parents and brother left, and my sister and I stayed a little longer.

Monday- EPCOT, Future World; sprinkling all day, then little showers every now and then. Riding Test Track in the rain is cold and painful :headache: We left about 5pm I would say.

Tuesday- Animal Kingdom, my brother was sick, so my dad stayed back at the resort with him, and my mom, sister and I decided to go on ahead. We all rode Dinosaur; first time for my mom haa. Then we walked over to Everest, went to the bathroom, came out and it was raining; my sister and I rode Everest, first time for her. We went to watch A Bugs Life, then ate at the Rain Forest Cafe. By that time it was pouring! Then we left about 3pm.

Wednesday- the SUNNIEST morning we had seen that entire week, it was so pretty. My knee was hurting because of all the weather changing, and my mom's back was hurting so we stayed in and my dad, brother, and sister went to the AK, my mom and I chilled a little then went down to the food court, ate, then went to meet them. We got off the bus and it thundered! lol. We met them coming out of the Safari, made it to the Flight of Wonders then it started storming and pouring. They had to cancel the show five minutes into it, but they let us stay under there. And if anyone can remember The Flight of Wonders is under like a tent thing. Well the rain started collecting in spots and all the sudden that part would bust open and water would come pouring in. :scared: We then left, rode the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch, walked through the pouring rain to the end of that, bought poncho's, then had to walk all the way back down that path, once we got off the train we decided it was time to leave. It seemed like EVERYONE was leaving at that time. All the paths were filled with like 2-3 inches with water. blah. We drove that day, so the second we got on the tram the rain slowed down tremendously. By the time we got to the car, it had stopped! It didn't rain once while we was driving, then when we got to the resort and started walking, it started pouring :/ That was a loooong day!

Thursday- MGM; my parents drove and my sister and I decided to sleep in and go later. So we went around 11 or 12 I would say. We got off the bus and went straight to Toy Story Mania and got fast-passes. It was a 80 minute wait the entire day. And then we did the Backlot tour, then Lights, Motors, Action. Then we went to eat, when we sat down it was a quick down pour, it stopped about 3 minutes later. We went to the Indian Jones show, met him up close and personal. And then Star Tours, and some other things I dont remember, lol. My parents left about 4pm when my sister and I had our fast passes, so the left and we stayed.. rode that, and then went to eat, then about 6:30pm we went to get in line for the Idol finale. A girl names Elise Cook won, she was AMAZING! Idol was by far the best thing on the trip, I loved it. (btw YAY KRIS!!!) Then we was going to stay for Fantasmic but it started raining about 8, so we left.

Friday- EPCOT, World Showcase; we went left and started in Mexico, and it started pouring then :/ We walked through all of the world, rode a few things, then finally got to Japan(: My mom ordered -these- for my sister and I, so we picked two pearls. Mine was the rarest pearl (: a silver one! We stood there for about 20 minutes watching other people, and trying to dodge the storms. And my mom decided to do two clams. One had a HUGE pink tinted one, and the other had silver twins :goodvibes I dont know how she did it. lol.

Saturday- my sister and I woke up, and went to the MK one last time, well they told us we didn't have any days left on out tickets. It was just a misconception with the person who added our days. But we got back to the resort and just decided it was time to leave, we left about noon and got home last night about 1:45am. It was a long drive full of rain, a few bad storms, and three wrecks :/

Overall though it was a good trip :)

I'm glad you had fun even with the weather.
I know my first trip, when I was 5, was wicked rainy. All the pictures of us on rides we were in our ponchos. But you have to make the best of it. And you're in disney world!!! Disney in the rain is probably better than home in the rain.

It sounds like you had fun, although the weather didn't sound great! I am looking forward to seeing American Idol, but I am not going to WDW this year. :)
