back from CSR...AWESOME!

Thanks for the review! We are staying there for the first time this October and I am so excited!

So glad to hear you all had a great time! We are planning to stay here also, but, unfortunately, not until Sept '09! I love reading all these great reviews, but it's also torture! I can't believe I have to wait over a YEAR!!!!!

I feel your pain, we also aren't going until Sept '09!!!

Wow - thanks :cool1:

If we can not afford the CR for our 25th anniversary in 2010 - Then we will try the CSR. We were thinking of POFQ, but CSR looks nice - the Casita's or Cabana's. We could even pay for a water view - maybe ask for a view of the Lake. $215 for Peak rates (2008 rates) would fit our budget. Even if the rates go up to $225 (inflation). I think it would be great. The CR rates for Garden Wing rooms would go up to $460 by 2010.

Would you get a 1st floor room ?
Easier to get in and out of - and we would close our window curtains anyway since the rooms open up to the outside.

Thanks!

I prefer 1st floor rooms but all the cabanas are on 2 floors, ranchos have 3 and casitas have 5 floors.

My fam and I are going Aug 12-15. I would like to be as close to the main pool as possible. First floor even. We don't mind noise at all. What would y'all suggest.

Depending on what you want to be close to, here are some good building choices.

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge. Most convenient location and most preferred.

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building. (Closest to the Pool)

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool.

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 1 is attached to the main building and is very close to the restaurants.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building. Close to bus stop #2.

Make your room request as soon as you make your reservation. It’s never too early.

We LOVE  CSR! WE were so sad to find it was full when we booked our September trip, but were able to get in for the December one! Yeah:banana:
