We just spent 6 nights at CSR, it was our first time at this resort and we LOVED it! The beauty of the grounds was refreshing to the soul. It was a lot of walking, but that didn't bother our family (DS8, DD6, me and hubby). The bus service was far superior to that of POP, where we have stayed in the past. The wildlife was amazing...bunnies, turtles, ducks, snails, etc. We stayed in the Casitas section, I requested the cabanas but none were available. Turns out we loved the casitas and it was great being the first bus stop to be picked up and dropped off from. We also checked in around noon and our room was actually ready even though they were booked to capacity the night before...bonus for us! I would highly recommend this resort, the family and I LOVED it and plan to go back again!:wizard:

So glad to read that another family has fallen in love with our "home away from home." Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We can't wait to be there in two months.

I am getting more and more excited about our trip in 20 days!!!

Yes!! Lots of great CSR reviews lately. It helps add to the excitement we have for our trip in a few months. Thanks for sharing and I am so glad you and your family had such a nice time:goodvibes

Welcome back! Like you, we just had a week there in late June and loved it, too. I can't believe more folks aren't in love with this place, though I see it getting more and more "good play" here on the Disboards. CSR really is a gem for that "getting away from it all" vacation-y feel. I get silly warm fuzzies whenever I think about our trip. I wanna go back! I wanna go back!

So glad to hear you all had a great time! We are planning to stay here also, but, unfortunately, not until Sept '09! I love reading all these great reviews, but it's also torture! I can't believe I have to wait over a YEAR!!!!!

Yep, my fave, too. It was booked up for my next trip, so we're doing ASMovies instead. Not quite equal, but I'll take it.

I am really thinkling of giving CSR a try. Thanks for your report here.

How did your children like the atmosphere at CSR(pool, food court, etc)? My DS will be 8 on our next trip in June 2009. Just wondering how kid friendly it is!

If we say it's awful.. maybe others will not reserve it and we can have it all to ourselves!;)

CSR is wonderful for our family. Our kids really enjoy it. Last summer I had a 12 and 9 year old and they loved it. They can't wait to go back.

CSR is great for kids! Awesome playground, very fun pool with slide, arcade, lots of wild life (saw an aliigator when we were there).

My understanding is the main pool is closed? Were the other pools crowded? We currently have a res at Port Orleans Riverside in early Sept because the mian pool is closed however i wonder if we should reconsider?

The main pool at CBR is closed not CSR.

:surfweb: I glad you folks loved it:love: We will be making our second trip to CSR next tuesday:banana:  I can hardly wait only 5 more days I cant believe its almost here:cool1:

My children 8 and 6 loved the resort! They enjoyed the pool, pepper market, and mousekeeper! They also loved seeing bunnies, turtles, snails, ducks, etc. on our walk to the pool. When asked if they preferred POP or CSR, they said they liked CSR just a little bit better but really did like them both! It was very kid friendly!

My kids 8 and 3 our first trip, loved CSR. Last year we booked POFQ to try something different, but the kids were so upset we switched to CSR instead. This year my DD5 is upset that we are going on a cruise instead of staying at "our hotel!"
