Back from BCV

Spent Nov 30 to Dec 6 at the BCV and had a great room overlooking the front pool and the stream. The aligator made his daily morning appearance around 9am which pleased my family. Overall I liked the resort but the staff seemed depressed or something in my opinion. (Probably recovering from the Thanksgiving holiday) Barely got a "Welcome Home". We pool hopped over to OKW and the staff from the valet to the pool area were the nicest we encountered. People there too seemed less snobish and would actually try talking to you in the spa. Met some other great DVC members there.
Back to BCV...
Rest of the place is very nice and new. Did loads of laundry and the machines are great. Kitchens are all new w/great appliances. We stayed in a one bedroom unit. Not sure of the room number but was nice because it was quiet but could walk not too far to the bigger pool area. I think they did well building this one.

We had an outside view, not the SAB view. On the 4th floor overlooking the river, stream, or whatever it's called. Near the main parking lot but was very quiet at night.

By the way---did anyone notice the Mickey Ears in the outer edge of the hallway carpet? They border the pattern and is really cool to see it all blend in like that. I think the drapes had the same thing too. Or maybe I just had Disney on my mind 23/7?
