(This is day five)This day started out like all the rest, raining then it turned into a lite mist.I have a problem with open water and boats, but I thought I could overcome this fear on this trip.I was wrong
as I started down the walk way I started shaking and turned white as a ghost so my wife tells me.Well that was it for us no Kenai Fjords trip, but it's wasn't Disney's fault I didn't go.What upset me was the guide asked me if I wanted my lunch and water and I said yes so she went and got them for us.She told me she was sorry I couldn't go and we were to meet at the sea life center later.I didn't plan for this either but the ships helper told us of a tour that doesn't leave the bay and the water is very calm their, they had 6-8 ft sea's that day.Went back up to the dock but the tour was sold out.O well such is life so we went to the ranger station and had lunch outside at the picnic table out back. They give a narrated tour of Exit Glacier (park ranger) but you have to have your own transportion to the Glacier.Exit tours does it for 10.00 a person round trip.Their office is by the train station. As a rule the Disney guides have suggestions for you if you don't go on tha planned trip, not one thing was offered. The guy from the tour boat and our coach driver(Henry) gave us some very good ideas.Seward was a cool place to hang out for the day the people were very friendly and helpful. We walked around town saw the million dollar homes on main street,we went by the fish docks and hung out their for awhile and just bummed around until it started raining pretty steady so we headed for the sea life center and waited for the group to get their. We had dinner which was ok nothing to rave about made a clay puffin. The private tour was nice tho.I was glad i didn't go on that trip as they told me almost half of the tour got sick including the lady passing out th barf bags.Back on the coach we went for the ride back to Alyeska Resort.
