Hi all.......my trip is over.....boo hoo!!! I can't believe how fast 23 nights went. We had a great time as usual. Coronado Springs was great, we really love it there. I sent in my room request 4 days before we were arriving and got everything we wanted except for the location. We wanted to be in the cabanas section but we got the ranchos section. When we got to our room we realized how far from El Centro we were so we called and asked for a room change and they were able to change us to the casitas section (building 3) which was nice and close to El Centro. We just love the Pepper Market.....even though it is a bit more expensive than the other food courts at other hotels. The wet burritos are wonderful. And the manager of the Pepper Market was so nice, he even remembered us from last summer.

I will give my report on where we ate on the resturants board later on.

I also wanted to say thanks to DisneyLisa for letting us join in on her Illuminations Cruise. It was a great time (even though it rained) and it was nice to meet people from the boards.

If anyone has any questions about CS just let me know.

WOW!!
24-Days at Disney World! I would think I died and went to HEAVEN!

I am so Glad you had such a Great stay. I thought that 12 days was a Dream Come True! I can't imagine 24 days! But I'm learning that there is no such thing as enough time at WDW... I wished we could have stayed 14 days and your days went too fast than no matter how many days we could stay we would want to have More, and More, and More Days... So now I truly believe that I need to work for WDW so I can be there everyday..

Hi and welcome home !!! Sounds like a wonderful trip !

We will be arriving at CS Aug 3 for 1 night before our cruise. This will be our first stay there, so I had a few questions if you don't mind:

How deep is the water where the pool slide ends?

Did you take the bus to the Boardwalk during your stay? If so, how was it ... about what time do the buses run until ?

Can you give us any tips on what was really tasty at the food court or at the pool bar. What is a wet burito?!

Thanks for your pointers!
;) Cindy

Hi DVCindy.......I will try to answer some of your questions as best as I can.

The water at the end of the pool slide is probably about 4 feet deep. That is just a guess based on where it came up to on me when I stood to catch my son coming off of the slide.

We drove down to WDW therefore we had a car and didn't use the buses so I don't know much about them.....sorry.

A wet burrito is a huge, delicious burrito that you can get at the Pepper Market. It has all the fixens in it and a great sauce which I guess makes it a "wet" burrito. The food at the Pepper Market is pretty good, they have a few differnt stations with different types of dishes. They have a mexican station, a pasta station, an oriental station, a grill station, a salad station and a bakery. It's not an outstanding quality of food or anything but for a food court it is pretty good. Our favorite was the mexican station, the nachos and taco salad along with the wet burrito were great.

I hope I answered some of your questions.....enjoy your trip.

Unfortunately, the direct CS/Boardwalk bus doesn't run anymore. It's possible that the Downtown Disney bus may also stop at the Boardwalk, but there isn't any easy way back to CS from Illuminations anymore...oh well.

Welcome back and glad to see you enjoyed CSR!!

We're headed there in just a few days so I'm wondering if you had any ideas as to why your location request wasn't able to be granted? Was it very crowded or do you think everyone is wanting the Cabanas (now that the secret is out!)? We also asked for the Cabanas on our reservation but haven't sent in a fax. Any speculations on how we may fare??

Did you spend the entire 23 days at CSR?? Perhap that is why they couldn't get you what you wanted for that length of time?

I'll be looking for your upcoming restaurant reviews!

That would be a dream come true for me and my family. 24 days at our fav resort...CSR. Simply awesome. I hope you have a GREAT time. Welcome back

Thanks for the report! Just a couple of questions: Are there elevators in the Casitas section? We are going there in August and are having a hard time deciding on Cabanas or Casitas. I think we will probably want to be near El Centro. We probably won't spend a lot of time at the Dig Site. We like the quiet pools. Do you think we should request Casitas?
