We are back :guilty: Wish we were still there. We stayed at CBR and we had the Dinning Plan (Get Deal for us). I will send more info later. But if anyone has questions please ask.
Yes it was hot but no hotter then it was in Delaware, before we left. What a break we are getting now. We had a wonderful time, my main suggestion is get up early. We got on rides twice with less then 10 min waits in the morning at night there were anywhere between 30 to 90 min waits and Fass pass at night were all gone. We got on Rock and Roll 3 times in a row on Sunday morning. Splash Mountain 2 times and Big Thunder 2 times Saturday morning. We did Epcot on Thursday, Soaring then a Fast Pass for Mission Space we did the Test Track during wait, did anyone know that if you work for General Motors you could get into the VIP lounge at Test Track and then you can get to the Front of the Line no wait for GM employees at Test Track.
We had our Lime Green Mickey's on but I did not see one Lime Green Mickey on anyone. This site is GREAT for info. So many time I would say to DH I heard about this tip on the DisBoard. He would just smile at me, all that time I put on the computer paid off for us. :cheer2:
I don't want to put to much time on now so I will send more info later.

No specific questions - I just want your impressions of CBR. Clean? Good selection of food at OPR? Any comments on the pool?

Wait - I do have one specific question! How long was the trip to the MK?

Really, I'd just love to read anything about your trip!! Glad you had a good time.

We stayed in Jamica in Building 43, and yes it was clean. This is our 2nd time staying here. And we will go back.

The food was great for us, for counter service we would get 2 and split it. There is 3 of us DH, DS9 and Me. In the morning we would get 2 of the Adult Breakfasts (Eggs, saugage, bacon, french toast and potatoes) with 2 fruits and 2 waters (we took the water to the Parks, because we had the Resort mugs) and split it, it was more then enough. Cost: $26.13. Wtih the Counter Service you could get an Adult portion for the Children. So we took advantage of that everytime. DH was feeling Guilty by the end of the week it was so much food. We were on the Dinning Plan.
We ate a Shutters 3 appetizer: Crab Cakes, Salad and Carrots for DS he could of had an Adult appetizer, 3 Entree's: Tuna, Ribeye with shrimp and Fettuccini for DS and then 3 Desserts: Sand Castle for DS this was a BIG HIT for all of us Ice cream rolled in Cinnamon and sugar on blue jello with 3 shark gummie bears in the jello, other deserts were Snowball Cheesecake and Creme Brulee Passion. Total cost: $98.90 Dinning Plan again, if we had not had the dinning plan we would of not eaten at this restaurant only because of the cost. We only paid $80 a day for the dinning plan for the 3 of us $35 for DH $35 for me and $10 for DS9. I can not say enough about the Dinning Plan.

DS9 liked the main Pool he also liked the pool by our room, I think the main pool is ok, I like to see DS, at the main pool there is not one spot were you can see the whole pool. You also have pools by your room. I did laundry when DH and DS were swimming in that pool.

IMO the ride to MK was about 30 min. or longer it never became a big deal for us, not even when we were standing on the bus, only at night did we have to stand.

Thanks! The meals sound great, the CBR sounds lovely - I can't wait!! :cloud9:

It's funny - one of the things that excites me most is knowing I can throw in some laundry while they are all swimming!

Yes, I have a question.
How can anyone possibly wait SIX YEARS to go back to Disney World??????? :confused3

Hi to a fellow Delawarian :cool1: I am from the wilmington area also . Glad to hear that you had a great time and looking forward to seeing more of your trip report especially where you used your dining plan at. We are going next month and we also have the dining plan. Oh yeah it is nice to finally have the break from hot weather here. Next week we are suppose to finally have some cool weather! :goodvibes

Sounds like an awesome trip. We're staying at CBR 9/6-9/14 and can't wait! I do have just one little question though. I'm embarassed to ask but...what is the lime green mickey thing all about? I'm new here and could use all the advice there is to offer.

Sounds as though you had a fantastic time ~ Thanx for posting.

Lime Green Mickey is a paint chip sample from Home Depot. It is the Alien Green paint chip it is in the form of a Mickey head. You can do whatever you want with them. You can stick 2 back to back, decorate it, laminate it, then punch a hole and use a wire tie to put them on or tie a lime green ribbon on their back pack, fannypack. Or they put a pin on the back and pin it to their shirts, or put it on their ponytails, etc - anywhere that's visible.

I did not see one Lime Green Mickey my son had his on his fannypack and I had mine on my back pack.
