Ok, sorry it has taken me awhile for this update. I've been super busy.
On this day we had and ADR for WCC at 12:00 and then we were going to DTD for the rest of the day. We were really excited about going to WCC. It was our first time at an actual restaurant on disney property. I had heard great things about it on here and really thought the kids would enjoy it.
We arrived on Disney property a little early and it was sad to not be turning into one of the parks

However, we were excited to see this sign.
We had never been to a disney resort before so we were excited about looking around and seeing different things.
We learned what many already know.....Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful place!
After we told them we had arrived they said it would be just a few minutes, they had just opened. So the boys decided to build with the lincoln logs which they have at home and love.
Cole waiting
Here is what they were working on when our name got called.
I had to order the drink with the lightup Tink, she is my favorite. Here is Cole playing with it.
His first attempt at a straw. Of course he couldn't get anything from it but thought it was fun to try.
We had a good waitress, sorry, can't remember her name. She was one of the louder ones, so the boys thought it was funny. They really like it when she threw the straws and napkins all over the place.
Jerry drank his drink pretty quick, as usual, and she made a big deal of it when she came back with his refill in this huge glass with a huge straw. SHe yelled "Geez are you trying to keep me busy getting refills? Maybe this will hold you a while!" It was cute and the boys loved it.
Cole was in awe!
Jerry ordered the skillet, I don't remembre what exactly I had or the kids. Sorry no food porn, I forgot

We liked the experience of this place but none of us liked the food. I know a lot of people do but it just wasn't for us. All I ended up eating was the cornbread because it was pretty good.
We had Dylan ask for Ketchup at one point because I had told him what they do. We were very saddened when she said, "We don't do that at lunch time"

I really wish I had known that or we wouldn't have came for lunch. I was a little upset that it wasn't quite the experience I had hoped for but the boys still enjoyed it so that's all that matters.
Then it was time for the pony ride.
The boys had fun with this and overall we enjoyed our time here. We won't be back however since we didn't like the food it's a little too pricey for just the experience
After we finished our meal we decided to look around the resort some.
What a beautiful place!
Then it was time to head to DTD...................
