Baby's First Haircut

Does anyone know if they still do something special for a first haircut at the Barbershop on Main Street?

yup, we had it done for ds last january. you get a certificate, they bundle up some of the hair for you and the baby gets little ears that say 'first haircut' on the back.

bring your camcorder! it's a precious memory for us!

Oh thank you! He really does not need a haircut yet. He's only 9 months old! But it is kind of long in the back. I was going to snip it off myself (probably 2 snips would do it) but I would rather have it done "officially" at WDW.

Wait, don't cut it yourself, we love the Barbershop on Main Street. It will be more for you then him but you will have it on film to show him when he's older.

I am definitely having it cut at WDW. This will be his first Christmas, his first trip to WDW (pre-Christmas but in the season) and his first haircut. Can't beat that! I am very excited! (And you are right it is certainly for more for me!!!)
