Our youngest, DD aged 8, is adament she doesn't want to go on Thunder Mountain or Star Tours, after going on them last year and deciding she didn't like them!
I've heard of the 'baby switch' but didn't know if doing it with an 8 year old was acceptable! :confused3
We obviously don't want to miss rides out or queue for longer than necessary, as it wastes precious time.
Has anyone done it with an older child before?

I've never done baby switch at DLRP but did it at WDW with my DD when she was a tall 7. I am sure 8 (and even older) would still be acceptable, after all no one should leave a child of that age unattended. :scared1:

Hopefully someone else can confirm for you. :goodvibes

Many thanks. :goodvibes If no one else thinks it'll be a problem then we'll just try it!

I would give it a try. Last year we used baby switch on ToT. My son was 18 mths at the time. However when I went upto the cast member at the front of the ride my wife was nowhere near me, and I could have done it even if I didn't have a child (not that I'm advocating anyone doing that before I get flamed) :)
