Baby Swap

Since this will be our first trip with a baby, I've never really paid much attention to how the Baby Swap thing works ...

First of all, is it even available at DL? Second, can we do it on every ride, or only certain ones? Finally, do we tell a CM what we're going to do when we get in line, or just before we board? (I don't want any dirty looks from people thinking we're trying to sneak an infant onto the Matterhorn!)

Yes, it's available at DL at basically any ride that has a fastpass...tell the CM at the entrance BEFORE getting in line for a baby swap and they will give you a paper card w/the ride name and info about babyswaping. This means only one of you has to go in line and the other can wander around w/baby...then return thru the fastpass entrance to ride using the babyswap card. It's very simple and allows for babies and small children to get more out of the day than waiting in hot lines!

I think you can do it on non Fast Pass rides, also. The last time we did it was before they even had FP.

My understanding is that is available on any attraction that has a height requirement. You tell the first CM you come to that you want to do baby swap, they will give you a "pass" that you keep with you and when your partner gets off you give them the pass and then you go back through the exit or FP line (depending on the attraction).

Yes, its any ride that has a height limitation.

Also, always get a child swap if you can. Even if its a ride that you don't want to ride, but hubby does. It doesn't matter who uses the pass. So he could stand in line, ride, then go back with the pass.
