I have read that on a lot of Disney rides there is something called Baby Swap available.

How does this work ? Our first time with our daughter so this could be a godsend.

Thanks

Kev.

It's easy and works great! Basically you get to the ride and let the CM know that you want to do a baby swap. One parent gets to ride and then you get off and head back to the starting point and the other parent gets to ride. Where you go while you wait varies with the ride. It really should be called a Daddy/Mummy swap. :p

We used this facility a few times at both Disney and IOA. It's exactly as Steph describes and is really easy.

We used this a lot also on the trip we're just back from, one thing to be aware of though (Depending on the age of your child) is that the rides differ largely in the way they handle parent swap. There are some rides that you can't take the buggy into the queue so most of these will give you a ticket that will admit up to 3 people back into the past pass queue, however there are some that won't and insist you take the child in the queue with you both, this is fine unless you have a sleeping baby in which case it doesn't work at all unless you wake the baby! ~(which we were asked to do several times!!!!)
I'm in the process of writing our trip report and am including how the baby swaps worked at everything we went on so hopefully that may help people a bit.
