I have requested a crib for our trip(5 more days). Do I need to confirm one before I go? Do they ever run out? I am going on my first trip and am a nervous wreck! Four kids-need I say more? Thanks!

Just to calm your nerves I'd call the hotel directly and request it again. Don't worry, it's normal to get nervous with such a big outlay of money on what you hope to be a magical vacation. Just try to enjoy the time with your four kids (I have four too (6, 5, 4 today and 2 1/2) and we're going for our 3rd trip on 4/5 -- so excited!)... Remember they are still kids though and that while WDW is "supposed" to be fun, they are still kids. If you think it may be overwhelming for YOU... you've spent all the time planning, they probably aren't as intimate w/the schedule and plans and researching you may have done. Don't push them too hard the first day or two... see how they do! Getting your time and money's worth doesn't necessarily mean doing everything at lightning speed... you wouldn't go to NYC and expect to see every show, eat at every restaurant, shop every store, go to every sightseeing location and generally do EVERYTHING there in 5-7 days would you? (Don't know how long you're going to the WDW but you get my drift!) Anyway, have fun and maybe we'll see you in the World! :wizard:

Hi--

We are going on Sunday!! I have read several threads here on cribs, but don't have real life experience with them at the hotels yet. From what I understand, there are a limited number of actual cribs (small ones), but plenty of Pack n Plays. So, you're all but guaranteed to get a Pack n Play. We rented a full-size crib from A Baby's Best Friend (www.abbf.com) b/c our daughter won't sleep in a pack n play. She is SO persnickity. She also sleeps with us when she gets up to eat, but do you think she'll fall asleep with us the first time--no! LOL. So, it's the rented crib for going to bed, then our bed if she starts crying later.

Have a great trip!!!

Thanks for the info. My baby will sleep anywhere so a pack n play would be fine. Her temp is down to 101.She has an appt. w/ Dr. this afternoon.I hope she doesn't have something to share w/ my others!

Ah! You're one of those "baby will sleep anywhere" people. I envy you. My DD is much better than she used to be, though. My mother-in-law is forever saying "if she's tired, just put her down on a blanket on the floor" (at her house). That is SO not happening. :-)

Glad the fever went down a little. I hope she can recover for the trip.

Good luck!

Hi again. I realized I answered a question from you from another thread.I am still feeling my way through this. Yes she will sleep but she started walking 4 days ago.Now she hates the stroller AND being carried. That could make this a very interesting trip.

Oh no! Starting to walk! Normally a good thing, but I guess for a Disney vacation not the best. We are lucky that Meredith is still in her stroller-is-king stage. She is an angel when she's on the move; her motto is "keep moving and nobody gets hurt."
