Dd is back at hospital, 4cm dilated and on gas and air. When the midwife asked if the gas and air was helping, her reply was, "Who said that? Jedi Master Yoga?"

I take it that's a "yes"!

All planned!! we plan to go 2010 when he will be around 2yrs 6 months,
when steph was on gas and air she asked me to give her something nice to think about-well it had to be her pushing the pram around magic kingdom and visualising all the shops and rides!! and it worked for a few minutes to calm her

Congratulations to Jeanette, Stephanie and family on the arrival of baby Charlie! As I work in the hospital where Charlie was born I have seen him today and all I can say is "What a cutie!"

Hopefully Steph will be coming home today, she has lost a lot of blood and may have needed a transfusion but no need now, all is fine

He is so beautiful, Netty. I'm feeling overwhelmed at the moment - very tired and emotional, but so elated I don't think I'll sleep for a month. I feel just the same as I did when my girls were born and I really wasn't expecting that. Seeing the photos of your grandson has started me crying again.

Those photos are lovely Jeanette - he looks adorable! I have been on a day off again today and I am sure Steph will be home before I go back tomorrow. Hope all goes well for Mum and baby once they get home. Steph needs to make sure she gets lots of iron in her diet and to take her iron tablets with orange juice as it helps them to absorb better (also no caffeine an hour before or after the iron tablets as it stops it absorbing well).
