He is finally here!!!
Charlie James was born at 11:59 last night weighing in at 8lbs 5ozs
mum and babe doing well, though Steph is thoroughly exhausted....Nanny and grandad are too!!
I will upload photos later on!

Congrats to great auntie Gail(gailie) -my dh sister!!!!

I'm glad the wait is finally over - you must all be feeling very happy and relieved (not to mention exhausted), Net. I hope Steph and Charlie are both doing well. Any idea when she'll be allowed home?

George was sent home this morning. The contractions were coming every 15 minutes or so, but only lasting around 15 seconds. She hadn't been able to sleep because every time she started to dose off, she was woken by a contraction. Boy, I remember that - and it seems like only yesterday! I could tell she was in quite a bit of pain, so things are clearly starting to move. I ran her a bath and then went out to see my Mum. I've just got back in and there's no noise in the house at all, so I'm reluctant to go into her room in case she's getting some much-needed sleep. Actually, I could do with a bit of that myself and I wouldn't mind betting you're feeling the same, Netty.
