Does anyone know the official line on taking baby formula both on board the plane and into the US? We're planning on putting an unopened tin in our hold luggage and wondered if this fell foul of US Customs regulations.

We have before, i asked on the plane as you have to declare things on the white form and they told me just to write on the form that i had baby food and milk in my hold luggage. And we had no probs

You can bring baby milk and some types of food (see list) with no problems.

Go the orlando international airport website and look on the FAQs for international visitors and one of the questions is about baby formula

It looks like it shouldn't be a problem as long as its a small amount

Thanks for the replies. I know formula is widely available to buy in the US but I'd prefer to take his favourite brand!
