Thanks for the well wishes, and from all of you - Lurrrv and carrieannie and snowbell and Scott and GusT and GorshGoofy and Mom 2 Two and declansdad - I do think we will have a good time, even if it is crowded. The food always pleases, and the memories will be fantastic!

I talked to Brookie on the phone a few minutes ago, and we were singing "Jesus Loves Me" together. Jill said she was pointing to herself as we sang. I can't wait to see her tomorrow afternoon at school.


So let's finish departure day.

Since we were already officially checked out, we went over to All Star Movies to let Brooklynn play in the water. We had kept her awake and wanted her good and tired for the flight.

First we ate.

Then we played.

I walked around taking pictures of where we would be staying on this March trip.

Then I came back and watched Brookie play for a little while longer.

I couldn't resist calling the teacher I team teach with and sharing with her the warmth and beauty around me while she sat in a dreary 40 degree TN day.

I took these pictures as I sat and talked to her and shared them with her later.

Much to Brooklynn's disappointment, it was time to dry off, put clothes on, and head to Magical Express.

We walked past here and over to ASMusic to meet the ME bus.

We decided that it wouldn't be bad to request a Mighty Ducks building because it was so close to the Music's food court. We'll see what happens.

Once again, Brooklynn barely knew we were on the plane. She slept the whole trip!

We had a great time! This time tomorrow, we'll be down Georgia way. By ten-ish Saturday, we hope to be checking in. I hope to bring back lots of good pictures and good times to share with all my Dis pals.

Just saw your post as I scrolled through to edit, BrittBritt and Scott. Yeah, I don't do well at getting trips told in a very timely manner. I will take a ton of pictures. I always do. It drives Jill nuts when I'm doing it, but she loves seeing them when we get home. You guys take care of the boards while we're gone! I'll probably check in tomorrow a time or two before we leave.

Yes, it is the middle of the night in Georgia. I went to bed at 11:10 and thought I would surely be good until 4, as tired as I was. Nope, 1:18 it was.

i hope it didn't storm wherever you guys were last night. it was crazy near atlanta. they had to stop the SEC basketball tournament at the georgia dome because the catwalk was swaying back and forth and the ceiling was shaking. they think there was a tornado downtown. ray and i watched the news all night because storms just kept rolling towards us but fortunately nothing hit our area directly. have safe travels!

i think they were stopping in perry, georgia to spend the night and that's south of macon, so they should've avoided the storms. and knowing her, the got up at the crack of dawn this morning to head out. they should've missed all the action (i hope)!
