Baby and the Tramp...and a Pop (half) Century! Where Did It Go???

Swans and snowbell - You are much too kind. Tolerable, maybe. A little better than the hunchback, maybe. But beautiful would be reserved for Jill. You are sweet girls, though, to give an old lady a compliment.

snowbell - Be sure to take lots of pictures at Epcot. The flowers they have on display are just amazingly beautiful. There are so many bright colors everywhere and lots of unique items for sale.

Here are a few from Wednesday, and I'll show more later.

Wow you are right....that is impressive! Darn that school just gets in the way of my going to see it. I hope in 10 years they still have it going on cause I will be there all the time.
I made the girls a simple dress and top for Easter....nothing over the top. We have a busy day. We do the basket stuff and an egg and treasure hunt. Then church. Then if its not too cold, we go up to the boardwalk. They have special activities plus the rides are open....yaaaaa. Its NOT Disney but it will have to do till we get to Florida.
I was actually serious about making Brookie an outfit. I will have princess fabric I think when I get started on the next set of projects. You have to let me know what you want! When are you taking that cutie pie back to Disney??? Obviously, she is getting the hang of it and really will need her Disney fix just like Memom! ;)
Well, I am off to bed. :yay:  Happy Easter a little early....He is Risen!!!!!

We are so happy to have our dear old friends hanging in there with us, too.

It's funny that we have a friendship of sorts without ever having met. When we are talking about Disney stuff, which is often, or when we are in Disney World, your names come up like we know you. When we go to Epcot's Canada, we always take a picture with Declan and his sweet mom and dad in mind. Driving through Georgia, we joke that punkin and cherokeemamma should have supper fixed for us! At Animal Kingdom Lodge, we picture Glenda out there relaxing by the pool or enjoying Boma. I could go on.

We picture how all of you enjoy the many different things that Disney has to offer with your families, and we hope that you guys all get the same feeling we do when we are there. As you go on your trips, we pray for your safety, and we wish for small crowds and short lines and happy CMs and lots of dreams coming true for all of you.

So, thanks, 'old' friends, for sharing these magical times with us.

This picture is for snowbell, and it is as good as you are going to get - full face on, but all the fat hidden behind my friend, Bruce, the shark. The rest of me you can put together in pieces like you've done so far. It's not like I'm five hundred pounds or anything. I'm bigger than what I want to be, but not motivated enough to change it. Truthfully, I am wiped out at the end of a school day and just don't have anything in me left to give to working out. Add that to the fact that I love food, and it makes for a big round belly that looks like a bowl full of jelly! So, here's the face that has so far been hidden behind whatever I could hide behind. Hope it's not too scary!

i just love it when you write these nice little heart-warming thoughts! and if for some odd reason you're going up I-85 north of atlanta, you just let me know......i'll have supper ready for you any day! ;)

by the way, i think you're simply gorgeous!!!!

just FYI - i lost 35 pounds this past year. if you ever want some tips, just let me know. i didn't do any fad diets or starve myself.....just changed some of the ways i do things. but i think you look great the way you are!

Finally a sighting of the elusive MeMom!;)

As usual beautiful photos-hopefully some day I will get to the F&W...
Retirement I think:lmao:

You are so sweet to think of us when in Canada version 2. I have to say that my fav shot of Brooklynn is in the Welcome Center. She looks like an FLA bathing beauty-maybe someday she'll be a CM.

As per your ever so polite request, declansdad and I will be starting a Pre-Trip and I'll post some picks of St. Pete's in there.

Happy Easter to you and yours

I love the Stitch on the lifeguard stand.

MeMom~ I haven't finished reading threw all the pages yet. I'm on pg 39. WOW Thank you for the pm. I never would have wandered over here and read your trip report. Your family is beautiful especially little Brooklynn. I have enjoyed reading so far and look forward to reading much more. I love how you answer everyones questions.

I am getting so excited for my families first WDW vacation. After many many months of preparing its now only 17 short days away. I know we will have a grand time and dread it being over.

I certainly hope that little boy that stabbed you with a pencil gets the help he needs to become a wonderful person. Many prayers to you for working in that environment, it takes a really special person to be a teacher.

Hi Memom,
Got your voicemail when we were halfway home. Sorry we didn't get to meet up at Spectromagic. We ended up going on rides until it started and then we left MK since it was a madhouse. I did bring my cell though in case. Love the picture of you and Brooklyn, so cute.

MeMom those pictures are beautiful of the Flower Festival. I've been MIA around here, I'm getting things ready to help my sister move and trying to get through school and being in Nashville more.

twob4him - Thanks for taking time out from all your sewing to follow along and wish us well. I hope we will see pictures of your finished products. I know the girls will be lovely on Easter morning. Please do share a picture with us.
Happy Easter Memom and Jill and Brooklynn and guys! Hope you are enjoying your day! I stopped in with pics..... Can't wait to hear more about your day...

Happy Easter to all! Here are some pics from our Easter festivities. Brooklynn hunted eggs yesterday and then church this morning. We are at Memom's now on our way back to Alabama.

Precious girls! I hope you all had a wonderful day.
Sorry about no Disney tickets. Wouldn't that be the most awesome surprise?!?!

Jill found out that High School Musical on Ice is performing in Huntsville in May, so we will probably try to do that for our Disney fix until June 28th gets here.
We also thought about going to see College Road Trip. A friend of mine took her twelve year old daughter, and they really enjoyed it. I'm not much on going to a movie theater - about once a year or two I will do that - but we might consider it to get through these next few months. I'm frugal with my money, for the most part. While I am hard pressed to get a 99 cent burger at home, rarely do I do that, I have no problem paying $4.00 for a hot dog in Disney World. Why is that?

Your girls are just too cute! I love all the Crocs. Seeing all those girls made MeMom start talking about when she's going to get her next grandbaby.

Hi Memom,
Got your voicemail when we were halfway home. Sorry we didn't get to meet up at Spectromagic. We ended up going on rides until it started and then we left MK since it was a madhouse. I did bring my cell though in case. Love the picture of you and Brooklyn, so cute.

We ended up being back toward Splash Mountain and big Thunder Mountain, so we watched Spectro from back that way. We didn't really finalize who would call whom, so it's no big deal. I hope your family had a nice time, especially Kaylee.

It is very exciting that you are about to take you first Disney trip! You will love it! We will look forward to hearing all about the fun that I know is in store for you.

By the way, the boy that stabbed Mom was eventually sent to another school. He had been in a special behavior school, and he was let out to try regular school. It didn't work out so well.

Yes we had a wonderful trip, it was way too short though. Hope your trip was great as well. We liked Pop alot too by the way. I think for a shorter trips we will be staying there. My DS3 loved it as much as the Poly. Surprised me as he loves the monorail better than most rides :goodvibes . Kaylee got to ride Barnstormer with Goofy and we won Dream FP's :) .

We were actually in KY with John's family, but it is cold here in AL today. Barely reaching 50 and the wind is blowing 10-15 mph. When you are used to 75-80 that is really cold.
