I can't believe I read the whole thing! It only took me two days at work, but hey, I did it!
MeMom, you remind me SO much of my mom, and how much she adores her grandkids (my two kids)... and we take them to Disneyworld every chance we can too. You've inspired us to spend one extra night before our week at the Polynesian at POP. You had me at "Spin and Marty" at the beginning of this TR. They were my mom's favorites as well.
LOVE the pictures. Seriously. You should have some of them framed.
TCKK - You like chicken and dumplings? I think people either hate them or love them. I love them - along with dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, and fried apples...mmmmm mmmmm!
Anyone reading this, you need to check out the pictures over on TCKK's pre-trip report. There is a future Disney artist blooming over there!![]()
I know we're nuts about all things Disney, but I just do not understand how some people can walk those magical streets and just never want to return again. They have that "been there, done that" thought, and one time really was enough for them. I know it's good that everyone is different, though, because if everyone thought like Jill and I do about Disney World, it would be even more packed every day of the year.
I wonder how many trips we would have to make before either of us said we just didn't want to go back for a long time. I know the answer has to be more than six times in one year, though, because we're still as goofy as ever over this upcoming trip, and Jill's trip with friends in October, and our Thanksgiving trip!

I know what you mean. I have 2 friends at work that have gone and taken their family and they don't really care about going back. In fact, the one girl really didn't like it. I keep telling her she needs to go with me sometime and then she'd love it. I think that people that don't love it, only think about the amusement type fast rides. They miss out on all the fantasy and imagination rides. I love the roller coasters and stuff, but it's the other rides and just the whole Disney atmosphere that makes it so great IMO.Another friend at work loves Disney but his wife just really doesn't care about going back. He wants to go stay for about 6 months and enjoy each of the resorts, but that's not her thing. He says I'm lucky that my DH is as crazy about Disney as I am. I think he's right

I love these pictures! They remind me of my favorite part of Morris the Moose Goes to School--the candy shop!Disney World sweets are a popular favorite.

I love the angle of this picture! Yeah, you may have gotten another family, but the picture is very cool. It's kind of fun seeing what's happening on the other side instead of the usual line of people waiting for their turn.We saw this friend - one of my favorites. I tried to angle so as not to get the other guest in the photo, since we weren't going to be waiting in line. Of course, in doing that, I got a whole 'nuther family in the background. Oh, well. I guess I'm not so smart after all.

I love WDW, but I've only been once. It was so much fun, but if I hadn't found the Dis Board or Tour Guide Mike, I might have missed a lot of the magic. Well, who am I kidding, I did miss a lot of the magic because I did the commando thing.I know we're nuts about all things Disney, but I just do not understand how some people can walk those magical streets and just never want to return again.
