....nahhhh, not really.....it's just that this newest avi pic is....well.....EYE-CATCHING!

That it is! pirate:

Maybe a little rum will help that dream.pirate:

so mom's dr visit went well... she has to go back in a few more weeks... basically nothing has changed..... (which is a good thing) they wanted to make sure the "numbers" were not changing or going in the wrong direction... and so far it;s stable ... so we are good with that...

That's good news!

Thank you. Maybe I will only have 4 kids today. I'm hoping to go today and find she has more days scheduled.

That would be nice. Good luck!

Kwitch - love the pictures! You really have a great eye for setting up the shot. My DD6 has the same camera your son has (but in pink of course).

Kwitch, the pics look awesome!

Daisyyy, I totally would have been down for rum, but I took four ibuprofen and wasn't sure how alcohol would mix with meds. :lmao:

Sadie, it still hurts this morning and it was awkward to sleep on last night. But I am continuing the four ibuprofen regimen and that is definitely helping. It's just this flukey thing, you know?

Morning, nanners!

Our last full day before Nemo goes back to school. I've got a few errands to run and it is sort of damp and rainy out. I am debating asking Nana if she'll come over and watch the kids so I can do the errands without taking them. I should check the weather.

Anyway, I can't believe my baby is going to be in second grade tomorrow! Crazy! He's so excited because his best friend is in his class this year. :goodvibes

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes
I have to go back and do some catching up. But in the mean time I hope you all have a wonderful day!! :goodvibes

Stoked. Got MJS to take the stuff we needed to the school and he will pick up the errand items on his way home from work.

It is pouring here, and given that it's the last day of summer I think a pajama day in front of the TV is in order. :goodvibes

...yay! :dance3:

Howdy girls!

Been traipsing through the upper Plains this past week.

....sooooo, they went with a 'pirate' theme for the wedding....interesting....popcorn::

Oh, I didn't need that translation. I think the good Captain would be drinking a lot of rum. Sadly, as I have children to care for, that's not a possibility. Yet...

Actually, I got MJS to drop off what we needed to at the school before he went to work, and he's picking up the other things on his way home, so I can be a lazy bum and not have to take the kids out in the rain which is seven different shades of awesome.

....as opposed to fifty shades of grey....:coffee:

....sooooo, I'm guessing that you'r not shocked it was MOI....popcorn::

[...truth be told, I've never even read a single solitary page of any of those books...]

So, I just need to vent, off FB.

We ended up filling out the app for the house rental. DH and I both have certain mixed feelings about the whole thing but overall, we both really liked the place. So let's apply, see what happens, go from there. He texts the landlord this afternoon just to give him the heads up that we've done this, that he may get a phone call. DH says his reaction was a "little weirded out" and he didn't want to have be renting this place going into winter.

Ok, first of all, the end of September is hardly "going into winter." Never mind that is exactly when WE rented it last year!! If he doesn't want to have to deal with winter rental, he ought to reconsider the month-to-month lease.....there is no clause saying you can't move in winter!

DH told him that IF we get the house (and it's a big "if"), we are certainly going to give him the required 30-days notice. I'm a little annoyed at his reaction. Maybe he's just ticked that he's potentially losing us. But as much as the thought of actually going through a move again makes me want to bleed out of my eyeballs, recent events around here are pushing me towards doing just that (we've had a few things happen over the last week in particular that have left a really bad taste in my mouth).

People.....

----------------

ETA: O-M-flippin'-G......the landlord has OUR apt. listed on craiglist. The wording is "may be available this fall or next spring" and the rest of it reads generally like "when the current tenants make up their minds I'll post an availability..." GROW. FREAKING. UP.

Yup.

Grow up.

I mean, it's one thing to be savvy about your business, but entirely another to handle it properly. Which you're doing. And he's not.

Ah well.

Big :grouphug:

Wow, great pics! Are the bison and the burro wild?!...or in a park of some sort. The burro is adorable!! (although having dealt with donkeys at the camp I can testify to them being a total P.I.T.A.!! :rotfl:)

.
They're out in the open. :)

We were in Custer State Park and they are free roaming. We had to watch where we walked... buffalo patties.

LM - I can't believe your landlord is being such a baby. I really hope you get the place now because he may hold this against you since he's a little, bitty, baby.
