What a waste of oxygen...

Only 3 out of 8 of us are happy with our assignment and they aren't willing to move ANY of us until the principal has had adequate time to "evaluate" us in our positions.

It was also inferred that I was being a crybaby, irrational, unreasonable, and not a team player...

14 hours of &*%! down and 1246 to go.

I have no where to put my affects, no room to get away from anyone, no support from the office, and anyone who can take a whizz in my direction, they will.

And at the end of today... I got snotted on.

So sorry your day went that way. That sucks. Period. I hope it is resolved but I have to question their wisdom in waiting to have you all "evaluated" in the new positions.....So, what, the kids can get used to new teachers only to have them potentially moved around??! Yeah, there's a plan.

I got a letter telling me who I'm with this school year. I'm with the same d*(&^%&%$%^^&*&*()*() teacher that I've been with for the last 4 years. This will be year number 5. I can't stand her. I can't stand how she talks to us parasites. I can't stand how she talks to the kids. I can't believe that my request for transfer has been denied for the 4th time.

Both days sucked. I'm giving them exactly what they are paying more. All $9.35 of it. The board has been made aware of how we are being used. Paras aren't supposed to have "breaks" during the day - we're supposed to be working with the kids.

The principal may have had her word with me, but she grossly underestimated others finding out about how we're being used. I'm HOPING the Super gets on her about our utilization (or lack there of).

If the principal refuses to accept your transfer (again), go to the director of special services or higher.

Morning everyone. Skies are dark and threatening here.....what a bunch of storms that rolled through the northeast yesterday! They had tornado warnings in south-central MA. It just poured here. We have a plexi-glass roof on our back deck and even a light rain is loud on that thing! Sounded yesterday like it was going to come right off.

DH flew it for work before and said it's along the same lines of Southwest or an AirTran.

DD turns 13 tomorrow! We keep telling her that she will know everything then.

Thanks! Yes, sometimes that Starbucks may need a shot of something stronger in it.

Her presents went over big. I think she almost cried when she opened up the cruise documents. Of course, we made her work for that one. First, she had to do a hunt following written clues. Then the documents were packed inside a box, in a box, in a box. All wrapped. The cruise is only 3 weeks from tomorrow.

Today we are going to Celebration Station then having 5 of her friends stay the night and end it with a pool party tomorrow at the house. Crazy weekend. I just hope the thunderstorms stay away.

We had a good weekend celebrating DD's 13th birthday. We survived a sleepover with 4 of her friends. Though a few of them took a nap during our pool party today.

I had a friend who's mother would do that to us with Jimmy Buffet music. I still hate Jimmy Buffet to this day.

I was somewhat nice. DD and one girl woke up around 9:30 so I made breakfast then woke up the other girls to eat. I tried a new recipe from pinterest! I made the cinnamon rolls in a waffle maker. Easy and very yummy!

In our house we're officially out of elementary school this year. Two in middle and one in hs. It'll be weird not having all those elementary-school activities and such to be involved in!
