Hi everyone. I've been in a funk and kind of hiding, but I've missed you guys.

Really? No one around at all this weekend to post? Well.

We had a good weekend celebrating DD's 13th birthday. We survived a sleepover with 4 of her friends. Though a few of them took a nap during our pool party today.

That must have been one crazy yet fun weekend.

Hey have any of you guys flown JetBlue?? I'm looking into them for Thanksgiving travel but I haven't flown anyone but Southwest since '05 so I'm just wondering how JB is.

We've dropped below parasite in my district. I am now likening my position to a house elf (Harry Potter). Parasites grow.

I love my school system for the opportunities that we have for our kids and our teachers really are top notch. HOWEVER, there are several who need a good smack about how to treat those who aren't teachers.

< --- This is how I feel. Right now. And all day the last two days.....

Work has suddenly doubled as a day-care and I. AM. FREAKIN'. LOSING. MY. MIND!!!!!!!!!!!!

Long story behind it but the boss' three granddaughters are there this week, two are living there (parents waiting to move into new house) and one comes for the day. It's a flippin' ZOO. Three little girls ages 4, something, and 9....screaming, screeching, and RUNNING. Oh yeah, and we'e supposed to be getting our work done in the midst of all that chaos.

There is a reason I never worked in a daycare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, yesterday I get a 10 day shut off notice for my electricity. I'm like, "what the friggin h*ll are they talking about." I was a mess all last night taking my Pharmacology test. Mess this morning during my inservices. I couldn't call because they were closed. Called today and found out that I missed a payment in May and this is the first time they notified me.

And I found out that my 80+ mom was in a car accident. She's fine but I'm trying to talk her into calling her Dr. and let him know that she had seen stars. I'm thinking concussion. She doesn't want to call. She is fine, the car was only slightly damaged.


On a happier note, I took out some money from my student loan that was sitting in my account at night school and was going to be returned. I have enough to pay off my credit card and have some $$ to go to the beach next year, AND have enough to live on next summer while I don't get any pay while I do my internship. Last night I had emailed the place I wanted and they have one efficiency left for the time frame I wanted.

Hi everyone. I've been in a funk and kind of hiding, but I've missed you guys.

But you're back! And as LegoMom said - It's Friday!

Today will be my last Friday off. I have to change my schedule to meet the kids school schedule and it means no more 4 day work weeks. Though my work is letting me work more than 24 hours a week now so that may make it worth losing my alone day. There's even a possibility of me going full time, though I have to figure out the getting kids to school thing if that happens. Ugh, juggling family can really be a pain.

Hi girls~~~



just popping in. August should be my down time.. but never really seem to find it.

Everything's been a hot mess for me lately. My mom was very ill, and spent nearly 4 weeks in the hospital, they eventually transferred her to a uninversity hospital closer to me, and they eventually got her back on her feet. (thank goodness)... however, she's still not great, but better. I wont get into all the details.. it's a lot of issues and of course one thing complicates the other, but at least they let her out, and she spent a few days with me, and then went back home for a little while, they want her back for follow ups... my dad is stressed, and hopefully doesn't make himself sick.. just looking for some prayers... She weighs only 105 lbs now, so we're hoping to put some weight back on her bones... On top of that... (When it rains it pours).... my Dsis has also been ill and in the hospital and now in rehab for the last 4 weeks.. (let's just spare the details, her surgery didn't go as planned).... In any case, she had been going through a divorce prior to this, and so my Dniece has been getting bumped back and forth between me and my brother too. Not a fun summer for a 9 year old... but her dad isn't in the picture, so she has no place else to be. We're just hoping my sister will be released before my niece has to go back to school.. otherwise we're not sure what we are going to do. Big mess... but prayers are appreciated.

OTHERWISE..... I'm good! Didn't have much of a vacation this year, but that's ok.. I'm getting ready to send my kids back to school.. my DD is starting HS... I am not ready.. she can't wait. We have some time off from swimming this month.. and even though I'm not running around like a crazy woman right now, I feel like I'm getting nothing done. I feel lazy like I dont have to do things... I think I like the structure more, becuase when I don't have to be places at certain times, then I just am not motivated. I dont know what to do with my extra free time.

Does anyone have any ideas on how far Anaheim is from Las Vegas? Thinking of taking a drive... if it makes sense when I'm there in December.... never been to Disney land, and never seen Disney in December. would it be worth the trip?
