Hope everyone is doing well. It's my daughters 21st b-day today. I feel old. She is out now with some friends and all I can do is hope she will be smart and NOT drive.

We just got back from Chicago.

DH heard that Peyton Manning was going to be at a sports show up there and so we drove up for the night.

About 1 mile from the White Sox's stadium our A/C went out. Then we got stuck in traffic.

For the next two hours.

We topped out a 2 mph.

Luckily Peyton was a great guy to talk to and DH and I got some really cool cards so it was worth it.

Hello Babnanas! I am in Seattle, back from our Disney cruise. The trip to Alaska was great. We got very lucky with the weather. It only rained one day when we were in Juneau, the one day we had no port adventure planned. We stayed on board and enjoyed the ship. We travel back home tomorrow. After that, the diet starts because I have eaten way too much. One morning my breakfast was fit for Kimmar... just a big plate of bacon. I had a brunch scheduled and wanted a side order to tide me over. Instead I got a giant plate o' bacon. I will post a picture when I get back home.

Chef Brian Piasecki is very excited -- with the "enhancements to the interactive kitchen we'll be able to give a fresh spin to California Grill classics, and add some cutting-edge new selections to the menu."

I think we've settled on Narcoossee's in place of CG.

Today, DH dropped a mini bomb on me. He doesn't want to go for 8 days anymore. He only wants 1 day for EP and I'm going to fight like heck to keep him focused on 8 days. I told him we'd be able to take our time and have a rest day in the middle.

He thinks we only need 1 day at AK and EP, 2 at DHS (because of SWW), and 2 at MK. That puts us at 7 days (with a rest day). What's one more day???
