Kwitch - that definitely sounds too cold to me, but 60's would be too cold.
Sister, 60* is too cold for me too! :rotfl2: Drives DH nuts, but I lived in SoCal and AZ for a good minute. My deep-rooted Midwestern blood thinned out quickly due to all the sunshine.

Morning gals!

Quick update on MIL: she's out of the woods, so to speak....turns out this entire thing was caused by a TICK bite!!!!! :crazy2: Hopefully she's coming home sometime early this week.
:scared1: Thank goodness they found it though!

Stupid, worthless parasites! Every time I would go out to visit our friends in Nantucket my mom's BFF would search us high and low for tick bites.

She didn't mess around!

I'm glad to hear she's on the mend. Been keeping her in my thoughts and prayers.

In other news, TWO months until we leave for FL!!! :dance3: I am SO looking forward to this trip.
:cool1: Sweet! I know you are getting close to a very special trip!

Oh, except that we've gone from fire-danger conditions to being in a flood watch. @#$!* New England.......:headache:

.
Sounds like Indiana - except we have to dodge tornadoes and frequently need to use the heat and A/C in the same day.

I'm convinced Mother Nature is bi-polar. ::yes::

....it's really chily here today - only about 53....
Mornin' Kim... I've not been outside yet, but my computer tells me it's 50*.

DH and I got a fully kid-free night last night and went up to my old stomping grounds to watch the UFC fight. He got smashed (I was the DD) and I just woke up about 20 minutes ago. I went to bed straight after getting home. I was too tired to even read.

But the uninterrupted 12 hours was GREAT! :thumbsup2

And I if any of you still habitually listen to Live365... I've found a new station that I really like. I've been hooked on WDWLIVE. I've been switching between that, Sorcerer Radio, and Reedy Creek - who's been playing the music from Soarin' a lot lately. :teeth:

....yup, considering that yesterday it was almost 75 and not a cloud in the sky...

We were close, but didn't breach 70. It was 42* at the time of our tball game at 11. And cloudy.

Once our game (that was 45 minutes late) started, it wasn't much warmer.

The overcast started to burn off towards the end of our game.

Then I got sunburnt. :sad2:

....that's not *giggle* funny....*chuckle*...

....holy-moley!!!

It's not Lyme disease but it is some tick-borne bacteria. Blech.

My blood thinned WAY out after our 3 years in FL/TX. And I hated the cold to begin with. :cold:

46* here and waiting on the rain.... Brr.

Cool! Thanks for the tips...I tune in to Sorcerer Radio quite a bit but hadn't heard of WDWLive or Reedy Creek. Something new!!

.

WDWLIVE plays a lot of movie music, which my kids like to hear. :)

And Soarin' just started! :cloud9:

.... ....where YOU been, sistah gurl-fren?

Just popping in and need to reply--I'm in the dead middle of IEP annual reviews. I had 30 to write this year because one teacher threw her hands up and said "I can't do it". I've been very stressed, but the end is now in sight! :dance3:

I can't help my albino tendencies...

I was going to say you should live down here in the Sunshine state, but not a good idea for those with albino tendencies. You'd have to slather yourself in sunscreen on a daily basis.

Good thing they have you. I can't imagine a teacher just giving up. I'm sure it's overwhelming, but it had to be more so for you since you are doing your job plus hers!

Hello all. Cold rainy day here.

Ticks YUCK I do a tick check on myself and the animals each time I come out of the woods. Took 2 off Boone yesterday after our woods walk. Had a couple on me the other day.

I have to do that anyway... ::yes::

:rotfl2:

DH is hellbent on staying in the frozen north, but as far as my BFF is concerned, once our DH's are no longer with us, she and I are going to sell everything and move to Florida.

So my move is going to be SEVERAL years away.

Then you'll be moving here when most people do... well after you are retired and have finally tired of the snow.
