We've got my nephew for the night and the kids are being relatively good (knock on wood...).

Yay for the three day weekend. (We're cashing in a snow day tomorrow)

How has everyone's week been? Kind of rough here....MIL is in the hospital. Too complicated to try to relate any details. DH is understandably all worked up. They still don't know exactly what's going on.

I'm just glad it's Friday. Ready for a weekend of some down time. Kids are on vacation next week, last one before summer!! We don't have a lot planned, but apparently neither do their friends, and the weather's pretty good, so they'll get some good outside, neighborhood time.

Nope, it's gone for me too. I can still get it by selecting the [more] option at the bottom OR you can type in : b a n a n a : (without the spaces) and it will pop up .

That's not happiness this morning! Any type of an update on MIL? Have they made any progress toward a diagnosis? My grandmother has had several of those trips... felt bad enough to be admitted and then she'd spend a week and they'd never really nail down a diagnosis. Now she flat refuses to go because the last time she was there, they kept her a month and a half.

It's a balmy 41* today and they're going to make us play t-ball in it. I personally think it's too cold for 3-6 year olds to be out playing, but then again, it's baseball so we play in anything.

Back in the day they'd cancel at 50*.

Morning all! Feeling a little rough this morning after the bachelorette party. The drag show at Hamburger Mary's was a ton of fun! We also hit up quite a few other places in Ybor (an area in Tampa known for partying.) The bride-to-be definitely had a great time and so did the group.

LM - any news about your MIL? I hope everything turns out okay.

Kwitch - that definitely sounds too cold to me, but 60's would be too cold.

I saw a bit on the news the other night about how caffeine affects the brain....it said that if you are a long-time coffee drinker (or other high-test drink of choice) that your brain has actually undergone a change and it now functions normally with caffeine! So, I guess that's that!...I officially "need" coffee to be normal!...

Why be normal? It's no fun.

I planted my garden at the community garden today because it's supposed to rain. Put in cucumbers, sunflowers, corn, pumpkins, carrots, kohlrabi and green peppers. I put in onions awhile ago. Last night I put in sunflowers, pansys, cut flower mix and hummingbird mix at my townhouse. I also planted some of the same veggies at my place.

Quick update on MIL: she's out of the woods, so to speak....turns out this entire thing was caused by a TICK bite!!!!! Hopefully she's coming home sometime early this week.

In other news, TWO months until we leave for FL!!! I am SO looking forward to this trip.

And in other news, there is no other news!!





Oh, except that we've gone from fire-danger conditions to being in a flood watch. @#$!* New England.......

Which means it's 2 months until I leave for Seattle for our Alaskan cruise! (the babnana is just below the bowing down smiley on my side list)

We've had some big rains too, which we desperately needed. The big storms just need to stay away next weekend when we go to Disney.
