On the reality tv front, my friend and I love this show on HGTV called Love it or List It. Anyone watch that? You can tell it's so set up for TV though, so I'm not sure how much "reality" is involved, but I still like it. :lmao:

My little guy was up from 200-500am this morning, and then up again at 800. I did not get any sleep and am so short tempered right now I feel bad for the kids. I told the older to play with his brother so I can five minutes to DIS. This is pretty much how I feel, except without laundry involved... :laundy:

I've seen that show. It seems very staged. If it's not, then those couples will be getting divorced rather than move with the way they bicker over what to choose.

Sorry about the lack of sleep! Hope you get a lot of rest tonight.

LM - The place sounds great! I say if the rental car price isn't too high, then go for it to avoid having car trouble on the road. With a rental, if something goes wrong, you just get another rental.

DD had her second Orthopedic appointment today. Swelling is down and she starts PT 3x's a week on Monday. I'm going to take her 2 mornings @ 7am and she'll be late for school by about 30 minutes and then a Thursday or Friday after school. I would take her all 3x's after school, but I that would mean leaving school and rushing to PT. An hour of PT and then rush home, drop her off and go right to school. I wouldn't even have time to go inside the house. Then it would be in school and getting home at 10 pm. I don't care if my work likes this arrangement. I need that 1 1/2 hour to chill out, sitting in a waiting room isn't going to cut it.

The things we do for our kids. I don't blame you for building in a little chill time. You deserve it.

LegoMom, the condo sounds great.

TK, I have not seen that show, but saw the previews. I will watch it when I get the chance. Looks interesting.

PaMom, you certainly need a little down time.

Hey everyone!

If I wasn't woken up at 5am, it would be better. That's when my husband and son got up to get ready to go ice fishing. I was hoping to sleep until 7am when my daughter gets up to get ready for work.

COFFEEEEE

Whew! What a Saturday. Finished the pages for my May '10 solo trip to WDW. I feel lost now and don't know what to scrap next!!.....:rotfl:

I also finally booked a condo for June! It's not the one on the beach, either. Loved that one, but the price was just making me uncomfortable. I found another one in the original complex we were looking at, but rented by a different person entirely. I really like the location of this place and all the amenities there. It's convenient to a lot of stuff, too (we can walk to the beach, a coffee cafe, really good ice cream, a CVS pharmacy, grocery store, and mini golf). I'm happy. AND!!....the price is amazing!!! Which is always a bonus. :teeth:

I bet I know the area. If it's Indian Rocks, we went near there today for dinner and DD5 kept begging to go play putt putt at the place with the gators. I was telling DH we need to buy a small place around there to rent out for extra income. There were many small places for sale.

We've been on this page for FOUR days now people!! Time to move on!.....popcorn::

Hmm. Maybe some people need to dig into their buckets and start posting.

It's not Sunday. So I can post monkeys and clowns. Better start looking for clown pictures. :surfweb:

It's been super quiet around here for sure. Guess everyone's busy. Not that I'm not busy, but I do like to pop in and say hi! :wave2:

Oh and I'm off work today, too, but not because of the holiday. I'm really hoping we get some bigger orders start coming in....these 4-day pay weeks are not good for my budget.

Waiting on the clown pics, Mean Queen....popcorn::

Good morning gals!

I finally get a day off of school and I'm going to enjoy it. I's our last break until spring break. :scared1: This is my least favorite time of the year - the kids get horrible cases of cabin fever.

We're off to my buddy's house in a bit for a playdate and girls day in. Our DSs and DDs will keep each other occupied and she and I can catch up. It will also give me a chance to help her plan her family's trip in July. They traded in blue/green points for 7 days at BLT. I'm insanely jealous that I can't go with them on this trip!

Heck, DH was teasing me about putting together a last minute trip for Feb. 29 but we scoffed when the airfare would cost what it would cost for 2 nights and 2 days worth of tickets. Then he gave me the excuse that I couldn't put a trip together in 9 days. Oh well... it's fun to dream, right?

I'm planning to make some calls today too. I'm thinking about becoming a Disney-specific TA. If I can get it up and running I can try to work from home and do more stuff around the house. DH's and my schedules are so crazy that the house is suffering and I can't stand it. By the time we work, get home, eat dinner, and spend time with the kids, it's time to crash for the night and nothing else gets done. It'd be nice to save babysitting money too. I've chatted with some folks on Touring Plans that are TAs and I know it's going to take some time to get going, but I was hoping if I started my 4th job by the end of school, I'd get as much training as I could get and then possibly move on to a larger internet-based agency like Dreams Unlimited or MouseFan travel.

I'll have to get the house wired for high speed internet first though. DH was supposed to set up the appointment but he forgot. :headache: I'm going to have to use my last personal day to babysit the house once we get the appointment set. We have to go through Comcast, it's our only option. We also found out that it's cheaper to keep a house phone with cable internet through them versus internet alone. It makes no sense to me, but we'll roll with it. :)

I was going to ask what I missed around here, but I was able to catch up relatively quickly.

Hope you are all doing well! (especially your boy kimmar... scary ordeal for him and you!)

kwit - a word of warning from someone who's been there, done that, re: Comcast: know what you are going to want long-term and get that NOW. Once they have you, their customer service STINKS. Their high-speed Internet is really good, but I cannot for the life of me find a person within their ranks who can help me upgrade our tv package. I finally just gave up.

.

I know. Comcast is terrible.

We're not bundling our TV through them because we have an amazing (and "grandfathered") package through Directv and we're not willing to give it up. Even with keeping the two different providers, we'll end up saving almost $30/month. Our home phone through AT&T keeps going up and we only have it for internet. Our AOL went up too. It used to be $5/month through DH's work, but now it's $25. :sad2:

The "contract" we'd sign would be for 2 years. First year would be locked in at $45/month including the rental on the wireless router (premium package) and then it would go up to $60/month for the second year. Internet alone would be $30/month for the first 6 months then it would jump to $75/month for the next 2 years.

That package will also allow for me to amp up my photography by actually posting and maintaining a site for my work. :) I could finally start soliciting more internet based business.

LegoMom, if this condo is a big price difference, I'd go with it too. :thumbsup2

kwitch, that sounds fun helping someone plan their trip. I couldn't help but be a little jealous too though.

Kwitch - I say go for the TA thing. Between that and your photography, you'd be doing exactly what you love.

And here's a clown even the most clown phobic couldn't be afraid of.

Yay for that!!:yay: I'd love to have the time to really do more with my photography.

Yeah we decided to go with this one. Very happy with it, too. Nice lady (via e-mail anyway!) and again, lots of amenities at the complex and close to everything. And with gas prices going where they seem to be going, I feel better not spending so much on the rental.
