Me too. It's off to a banner start. DS15, for the 2nd day in a row, flat out refuses to get up for school. And I'm sorry but a 5'1" mom doesn't physically drag her 5'7" son out of bed. He lost all his privileges yesterday but there is a deeper issue going on here that DH have to get to the bottom of this weekend.

Good morning. I'm not sure what I will do with myself today. Sure I have plenty of things I should be doing in the house, but not much motivation to do them. Maybe I will take Dega for a walk on the ice where the guys are ice fishing. Hmmm I just noticed it's starting to snow. I better check the weather. I don't want to be driving around if this will continue. My brother (where they are fishing) lives down an icy unsanded dirt road. A layer of fine snow would make it very slick.

Morning! It's snowing here but we're only expecting 1-3". Nice and light and fluffy. It does make an icy surface slick as snot, though. I had no plans out today so I'm just enjoying being in. Doing laundry, tidying up, and I just put my first batch of fruit in my new dehydrator! I've got some Epcot BGM streaming, about to put on more coffee, and life is good. I'll get in some scrap booking before the day is out too.

I have become a dehydrating fool (that's dehydrating, kimmar!!.....not dehydrated!!.... ). I ran my first batches today -- apples, pears and babnanas. They came out really well! These will make great hiking snacks, too, but mostly I want to start some larger-batch drying and put some things up in my pantry. I think we'll try some beef jerky next....DS10 is just begging for that!! My next purchase needs to be a vacuum sealer.

SLEEP!!........ Dising while eating bacon would be the ultimate use of a new mattress........At least for kimmar.

But then she'd get bacon grease all over that new mattress! Wait, that doesn't sound so right either.

Disney was a lot of fun this weekend. I was surprised with how packed MK got today. Luckily, we got there early enough to get just about everything done. And we pooped out early. MK is open until Midnight, but we left around 7:30. There were a few things I wasn't that happy with. I do not like the new method to the Pecos Bill restaurant (not sure if others are the same.) But you have to get your food, then someone will show you to the area you will sit at. There were huge areas blocked off and you couldn't sit at. These were guarded by at least 8 CM's, so I don't see that blocking these areas off cuts down on staff. Plus, they only let you in on one side of the area you were to sit at, the other side was blocked off and guarded. It was all very odd and not terribly magical. DH and I are thinking of writing because we found it that annoying. Also, my hotel deal wasn't such a deal. While it was $85 a night, that did not include the mandatory resort fee of $22 a day and the parking fee of $11 a day. When it was all said and done, we'd have spent just as much at a moderate with a Florida resident or passholder discount. So that is our lesson learned about Priceline.
