.....O-M-G. SOOO good. I just put deli turkey, crumbled bacon, and mozzarella slices on ciabatta bread, cut thick...

....on Friday, I had to drive my DS to the job site where my DH is working. On the way back, I stopped at a little deli and ordered a smoked turkey, crumbled bacon, mozzi slices, and COLE SLAW sammich....actually, it was a wrap.....wrapped in a sun-dried tomato wrap! Can YOU say 'OH-EM-GEE'???!?!?

With school not for another 27 days, I'm having one heck of a Eeyore moment. I can't stand not getting paid for the summer. I have no idea what I'm going to do next summer because I won't be able to work ESY like I have been. I'm going to have to do an internship somewhere and more than likely it won't pay a dang dime.

I feel for you. I don't suppose you can file for unemployment at all over the summer? Hopefully next year, knowing how it'll be ahead of time, you can start looking for a summer job early and get a jump on things!

Speaking of Eeyore, I'm doing an Eeyore latch-hook rug right now! I might make it into a pillow when it's done.

They don't have to pay us if they give us reasonable assurance that we'll have a spot the following fall.

A lot of our school year paras get summer work on the custodial staff cleaning all summer. It's a crap job, but it pays well.

Yep no unemployment for us. We don't get fired(as far as I know).

Good morning and happy Thursday to you all. Heat is creeping back in here for the next few days......just in time for me to be baking. Woo.

Glad it's almost the weekend; work has been tough this week in the personnel department. I have one co-worker going on va-ca next week and boy does she need it!!! The attitude has been oh so delightful. It's not directed at me personally but in a company with only 6 people, you just can't get away from it.
