OH! And be sure to look at the aerial shots on the link at the bottom of the page. It's nuts to see how it has all developed.

I'll just be glad to go down when there are minimal construction walls.

....oooooh, thank you , thank you, thank you, thank you......:hyper:

It's so hard to think that the FLE looked like this on our second family trip in September 2009:

The support beams had JUST started to emerge for Ariel's ride and Prince Eric's castle. You can still see the OLD tents from Toontown.

This is the beginning of the BoG and Gaston's Tavern eateries as well as the base for Beast's castle.

And in May 2011

I will say the second set was more difficult to shoot. You'll notice trees in the foreground??

Yeah, Disney planted those the week after our September 2009 trip to block rubber-neckers from shooting progress from Dumbo.

....OMG, those pix are AWESOME!! I even watched those few vids - the Seven Dwarfs' coaster looks like its gonna be AMAZING!!!!

Heard from one of them late last night when she sent me a picture of Dumbo at night. Said it was a walk on at 10p! They spent the day at an offsite beach and finished the night in the parks.

I doubt I'll get anything more than FB status updates from the other gal. They are on abbreviated time down there, but I'm speed dial if there is a touring emergency!

LOVE. This. Quote.... :rotfl2:

It's nice to see some expansion going on in the MK, even if I'm not thrilled with the overall theme. Seems like so much is getting cut back, that an addition is a welcome, well.....addition!!! Did anyone see the main page blog headline about evening EMH being reduced to 2 hours?.....how carpy. :( But, if you think of all the people being paid for that one extra hour, I can see the cost savings. It just stinks. I loved the last hour of an evening EMH.

.

Hey, is that the new double Dumbo I see over beyond the teacups?? Is that already open?!

Yes, and DH is miffed! He lives for touring into the wee hours of the morning.

In full swing. My friend's mom, who's in the parks right now, dropped her point and shoot camera in the new water feature helping her 3YO granddaughter load onto the ride.

LOOK!!!!

The new map is ready!!!

I guess they are going to keep a wall around the mine ride while the rest of Fantasyland opens up? It'll be nice to go back and see some of the walls coming down. That trip over to Dumbo and the Barnstormer became quite claustrophobic back in June. Then again, I don't think a lot of people realized it was open and we had a lot of walk ons on both. . .

And, for anyone who goes in the off-season, it'll really cut back on the parks being open "late!" Ugh. When you really stop and think about the changes made over the last 5 or so years, there have been a lot, even if they were meant to be subtle (the Dining Plan comes to mind....I'll only do that if it's "free" now....the changes to that since its inception -- never mind the correspondgin price increases -- just don't make it worth it!!!).

Ouch!! I was going to ask if she was able to retrieve it, but then again I don't suppose it would matter at that point! :( I'm glad to see that train station open again, as well as my nice little path over to Tomorrowland. LOVE that path. Don't know why.
