Babnanas 11: "Boo-boo's are OUT, Toast is IN….

....well, you haven't gotten much further than that!

Well it's been super quiet in here and I haven't managed to get involved in any other threads to keep me busy, so..... :guilty:

I may have to consider starting a PTR sometime fairly soon. :surfweb:

Another heck of a work week. I think there might be one more week like this to go and I hope it settles down after that.

Well I wish you luck! My work is going through slow season right now; it's fun having a random day off here and there (like tomorrow, and it's nice that they give us a long weekend) but it hurts my budget and at the end of the month, I am really feeling those days off in the bank account!! I really hate this time of year for work. Six months from now I'll be begging for a day off!!

.

Been glancing at the thread and really like the fact that there is a random chat thread. It is also good to have a little randomness. :)

:welcome::welcome::welcome:

Come on in and stay a while!! We're not always terribly active lately but I'm game for some chit-chat when there's some random banter!! popcorn:: Sometimes we have trips planned (me, currently), sometimes we don't, but there's always something to discuss and really, as I like to say, we're really only six degrees of separation from Disney at any given time. ::yes::

I am always down for a little harmless chit chat, especially in the middle of the night when I am feeding 1 month old baby girl. I currently don't have a Walt Disney World trip planned and probably won't have one until my baby turns about 3 years old. I am also a single mom so money is tight. At least I have a job and will go back to that job at the end of July when my maternity leave is up.

CONGRATS on your new little princess: !! How wonderful. My "babies" are now 13, 15, and 18..... :( It's fun to see them growing up but I have days where I miss my "little guys" (I have all boys!!). We were very blessed to have 3 trips with them when they were younger, and they still remember those times. This next trip is just DH and me, and I honestly don't know when I'll get back again after this, but we'll have lots of treasured memories. :goodvibes

It's a new record for my household. We're all packed and ready for a long weekend in Sydney!! And it's still only 9.30 pm. Normally I'm up till midnight doing the packing.

Catch you when I get back.

I hope so. It's going to be a value for money trip as well. We got 'cheap' flights (cheap for Oz) and are staying with friends for 3 nights. She's coming to pick us up from the airport, so we don't even have transfers to worry about.

Just food. And we do plan to take them out for dinner.

Well, *pfft*...YEAH! What's a trip without a major food component?!? :confused3

Hello everyone. It is 2:30 in the morning and it is my baby and I bonding time in the middle of the night. She is pretty much like clockwork each night around 2:30-3:00 in the morning. It is like Momma food time for her. :)

My youngest had a late-night routine like that, only his was more like 11pm - 1am. But it was like clockwork! It was great bonding time. We would rock in the glider chair and I would feed him and watch some late-night tv. It was fun, really! :cloud9:

.

I also have a glider chair which I love and she loves to rock in. I usually turn on some soothing music while she nurses and after the nursing we rock for about an hour then I put her down back to sleep. It is a wonderful bonding time. I love holding her.

Welcome, Buzz! Glider chairs are the best when you have a little one. She's adorable! :welcome:

Kimmar, well doesn't that just stink! Don't let it tarnish your end of the school year glow.

LegoMom, enjoy the time off while you can. I know it hurts the wallet. Can't wait to see your PTR! :wave2:

Opened Facebook, e-mail and my phone this morning after being sick since Friday to find one of my YoYo sisters lost her brother over the weekend. He's been sick, and she'd just hustled up to NJ to help her sibs get him better situated.

On a happier note, my cousin the sheriff's deputy who was shot on 14 May is making a miraculous recovery. He sat in a chair two days after being shot in the head, remembered our aunt's birthday last Sunday, and is in good spirits. I know I didn't mention it here as I was swamped at work and fielding phone calls from family. Kimmar, the school system where he lives worked with his family to let his middle schooler finish the year from the hospital.

I'm ready to start planning the YoYo's trip to see Mickey in September. I'll start the PTR either this week or next week. One sister, YoYoTiana, won't be coming before our convention and going to Disney and the Park Which Shall Not Be Named. YoYoMerida, YoYoSnowWhite, YoYoElsa, YoYoRapunzel, YoYoBelle and I will be hitting the parks for three days. It's going to be fun!:jumping1:
