Your Save the Dates look so cute! I love the lanyard idea!
And you totally owe us some pictures of your projects. Also, if you're having a hard time cutting the card stock--- are you using scissors? I bought a cheapo paper cutter at Michael's and it works really well!!!
And oOOO that's so cool that you get to sign your LOA in person!
Thanks, Jackie. Everyone loved them! The lanyards also lead into the crazy pin ideas that we are doing.
I do still owe pictures for the projects. I promise to get them up soon. Thanks for the suggestion. I bought a cutter from Michael's and it works well. I was using one before, but I have no patience, so it wasn't turning out good at all.

I still have a year, so I will take my time and get them done nicely.
We are excited to sign the LOA in person. I am glad we are there at that time.

Haven't updated in a while since we were on vacation for 2 weeks and have been trying to dig myself out since we have been back. I highly recommend
Disneyland and a
Disney Cruise, both we amazing. I will post some photos soon, I hope.
On to VR related stuff....
We had sent our room block and LOA info back to our consultant around Labor Day and had mentioned that we were away for a huge chunk of October and didn't want to go through it last minute. The best laid plans and all that....I am checking my email one last time before the car was to pick me and of course, it is in my inbox. It took all of my reserve, not to print it out and take it with us. We are spending some time this coming week looking over it. When I did a quick glance, only one thing really jumped out at me. Hopefully, it all looks good and we will sign it on 11/10 when we are at WDW.
We are giving pins to all of our guests at each event. Since each event has a character or characters or Disney theme assigned to it, the pins will correspond. We have been very lucky finding a huge amount of the pins on ebay, except for the pins for our Welcome Dinner. We are having a Lady and the Tramp themed Bella Notte and L&T pins are hard to come by or wicked expensive on ebay. They also can be pretty scarce in the parks too. Well, we lucked out on the Disney Wonder. I manged to pick up 18 L&T pins.

I need maybe 12 more, so hoping to find some on the Dream and at WDW in 2 weeks.
We have been getting our pre-rsvp's back in. So far, we have 19 definite and 6 maybes, and 7 declines out of 45 invited. I know out of the missing we have at least half definites, including my best friend and our officiant and her husband. I think we will probably end up around 30ish, which would be great.
I haven't done a whole lot since we have been home on my DIY project since we are going away again on 11/8 to Disney and another
DCL cruise, so just trying to stay ahead of all that. Will really buckle down on those when I get home. The one thing I really need to do when we get back is to work on what should be a potential 4 page newsletter that will go out with our holiday cards. I need some photos from the upcoming trip though, so don't feel so bad about putting it off a bit.
The big thing I have done since being home is I bought the bags for our welcome bags. I really wanted to do a real tote bag (especially Lands End), so our guests could use them later. Wednesday night I am checking my email and I get one from Lands End about saving $40 off an order over $100 (free shipping too!) and for one day only medium totes for $15! They are regularly $25.50. I split the order into 2, to get the deal twice and when all was done, the totes cost us $11 per. We are not doing them per person, but per family, so we needed 20. I bought the natural canvas ones with no color, since I know that most of our guests don't love pink the way I do.

I didn't personalize them, but our Sears has a Lands End, so I can take them there to do it. I am so happy to give such a great bag and at such a great price.
Have a great weekend everyone!
