Has anyone ever rented a villa in this development?

Any info would be appreciated.

We've never stayed that far down to the I4..always right around the 192/27 junction, and no further past a mile or so from the junction.

So I don't know how the traffic is on the I4, but that would seem to me to be your best bet to get to the parks in the most direct way.

Of course the homeowner is going to know the "better ins and outs"..I'm thinking cutting up through Champion's Gate, Ronald Reagan Parkway...?? Might work too.

Are you thinking about doing 1/2 days in the parks...coming home for lunch and then going back? If so, I think I would look a little further "in".:)

Again, someone with some more knowledge of the "shortcuts" in that area would be helpful:)

Aylesbury is south of the I4..and knowing that the junction for the 27/4 is a 10 minute trip on a good traffic day - from the 192, if coming up the 27...add to that another 15 or so to the parking lots... :confused3

Don't forget to ask the villa owner about construction in the area..if we're not finding a lot of info, odds are pretty good it's a fairly new development - which tells me that there's some building going on somewhere:)

HTH!!

Thanks for the info mbb. We are going in December, so with early park closings we don't normally take breaks during the day. I'm not so much concerned about the drive, but about the development itself.

From what I've been able to gather on the internet, the development is less than 5 years old, so I'm not too concerned with the condition of the house we plan on renting. The owners are from the UK and we have had a very good rapport with them; they use a management company (K&W Management) that has been helpful answering our questions. Plus we got an unbeliveable rate for 10 days.

I was wondering if anyone here stayed in the development, what the surrounding area is like, etc. I have read some stories about "bad" locations in Kissimmee and Davenport, I just want to make sure the neighborhood and surrounding area is nice.

And that, I think, is the most important part:)
