So Disney has finally tipped their hand. Is this part of the new technology that is going to be rolled into your room key, wristband, or Park Ticket with RFID tags. Imagine Mickey now being able to know your name before he walks up to you. Very interesting. I am sure that Imagineering is using a combo of Turtle Talk and Push the Trash Can technologies with this. But this is fantastic. I am sure most of us have seen the Talking Mickey and Minnie at the Show at Cinderella's Castle that is prerecorded, but this is dynamic. Very Cool!!

Imagineering has really outdone itself! Simply sensational! I can't wait for this to be rolled out.

I am pretty sure they will have to roll it out with quite a few characters at a time so kids don't ask why Mickey will say hi to them, but not Pooh!

That would make for an awkward conversation....

You see...This is why I love the theme parks. It's technology like this that fascinates me. It may seem simple at the surface, but I'm sure underneath that Mickey head there is a whole heck of a lot going on.

I'm just totally fascinated at the level of detail the Disney company, Universal and Sea World too for that matter, will go through just for our entertainment. Pretty cool stuff!

Wow, that is awesome. It will be interesting to see if they move to this, would all the characters talk? It would be weird to have some silent, some not. And it could make for really long meet and greets. I was quite a talkative kid...it would have been hard for Mickey to move me along if they had this technology back then
