i think alot of people inc myself are lurking rather than posting as we have wdw blues due to finances
if i have anything to add ill add it, but as they have all bashed me on the other thread for being too sensible im going to keep my opinions to myself for a while

we were thinking of getting a professional portrait done for xmas as when we got married last year we didnt get one photo of just the 4 of us !!!

Yes, booked about a month before but it's not like ADRs where you have to jump in at the opening mark (I think it's 30 days). You can choose the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Beach/Yacht Club or AKL. They ask you where you want to do it.

You get quite a few of each scene but they are all slightly different as they zoom in/out, change angles, etc. There is a whole thread on the resort photos sub forum and lots of people have posted their photos on there so you can get an idea of what resort you think looks best.

It is really quiet on here at the mo!! I'm so busy with work though so I am behind with my food report and haven't even started the trippie I was planning. Any planning for the Christmas trip has gone completely out of the window - I have never been so unprepared!!! That's nothing to do with how quiet it is - just needed to vent!!!

Thanks Kathryn. I am also really tired today. Sleepy tired if you know what I mean. I went downstairs to make DD a hot waterbottle around 8 pm, sat on the sofa waiting for the kettle to boil and fell asleep. My daughter woke me 40 minutes later and told me she wants to go to bed

It is a bit quiet... there have been times when I've not been able to keep up with all the posting!

Nothing much happening with the VailaTigger household.

Busy at work, trying to keep on top of housework at home, Christmas shopping etc etc etc - all the usual! Plus, I'm absolutely beat, think I need my Christmas break.

I have the Disney Blues too Probably won't be able to afford to go back until 2013, although that's because I'm getting married in 2012 and we're saving for that just now! The 2013 trip would be our honeymoon. Just us. No kids

I don't have any Disney trips in the pipeline for next year (me and my mum were going to go to WDW for a week in October just gone but we went to the Amalfi Coast in Italy instead, still a fab holiday just in a different way ) so I haven't been around as much. A friend of the boyfriend is getting married in San Francisco in September and we've been invited... We would like to go (would probably combine it with LA and Disneyland! ) but it just depends on money really, transatlantic flights are soo pricey at the moment

sorry Lee didnt mean to imply that you d bashed me, i knew all the comments were in good humour, we are all entitled to opinions and as long as they are polite i have no problem with anyone expressing theirs.
what wayne and luke said was right...life is my important than windows, but unfortunately my house (esp tonight!) is desperately in need of some tlc, and tlc = money= no wdw trip
as for louise...drama queen??? moi??? ok...just a little bit

Oh Tracy, I was kidding Thankfully you have a good sense of humour! I was quite cheeky on the other thread actually - I suggested duct tape as an alternative to essential renovations

I know, there does come a point though when necessary becomes very urgent. It is possible we will skip the year after next in favour of the following Easter just to ease the pressure a bit. Still, as long as you pop on here and keep in touch, we don't mind too much if you take a year out.

I'm one of the older crowd I guess (in time on the DIS not age) I think I'm with lizziebear that most of the planning is done, 4 weeks to go today!
Although i started playing with my ADRs last night and swapped Cape may Cafe for Whispering canyon cafe as my boys LOVE it and I hadnt been able to get a ressie up until now, and i changed Rose and Crown for Chefs de France, no better reason than remy looks super cute and i need to see him

Other than that: passports all present, ESTAs done, loading up the fairfx card, pretty much good to go
