DH and I are planning a trip, without DD, in late Oct. or early Nov. for the Food and Wine Fest. Would we be we better off arriving Oct 21, or Nov. 4th?
Midwesterner here....but from what I understand it is the week (or long weekend) where New Jersey has a teachers convention and the schools are off. It occurs in November and many migrate to WDW.
WI's version is in late October but doesn't even make a dent in the WDW population. We were down there in late October last year. While I don't think it was more crowded because of MNSSHP there is one big drawback.
MK closes early (at 6pm) three or four times a week for the party. While we were down there (Wed-Sat) it was open twice until 9pm - one being an EMH evening. So what it means is less Wishes and night time parades.
Other than that - late October is a great time to go.
