Avoid parks on EMH days?

Is it better to try to hit non-EMH parks? Will the park with the EMH be more crowded? Has anyone ever done a water park during evening EMH & is it very crowded? Does anyone have any experience/suggestions about this? We'll be in WDW over Memorial Day weekend & a couple of days afterward. Thanks in advance!

Our plan is to hit the park the day after its EMH. It's worked well for us. We don't usually get up early enough (at least some in our party don't ) to get there at opening, and it does get crowded. I know some people get to the EMH park at opening, do the attractions they want to do, and then leave for another park. Hope this helps.

We love the am EMH just make sure you get there before opening. Haven't been to a waterpark so I can't help with that one.

I always do early entry into the parks (have been to the morning one's, but not the night one's yet). I don't find it too crowded, can do the attractions I want to with little to no wait, then stroll around if I finish before the rest of the park opens or head to the area I want to hit first once that area opens up. I'm an early riser anyway, so to get to a park at 7am or 8am is no big deal for me. I'll stay until around lunchtime, then head back to my resort for a rest/swim, then head to another park later that day.

Early EMH hours at MK are great, and really helped us on our last two trips...once during Spring Break Easter 2005 and then to avoid the heat August 2005.
We tried early EMH at AK on the Saturday before Easter and it was not a good idea. We had a hard time getting a bus there because I think EVERYONE from POR and POFQ went to AK that day. Then once we arrived, we still had to FP the Safari. Maybe midweek not during a holiday weekend would be better than our experience.
