Average Taxi Fare

Does anyone know the average taxi fare from SNA to Disneyland area hotels? Thanks in advance!

Yep this. It's a good average. We paid 42 on the way to DL and 47 on the way back, before tip. Depends on traffic, how fast your cabbie drives, etc.

We used a cab for SNA to DL, and was about $45. But on the way back, we used Uber Black for the first time and it cost $28 with the $30 off my first ride coupon. Very classy.

The driver was here in 4 mins, and picked us up in a Cadillac Escalade. Regular price would've been $60, and no tip too! I would much rater ride in the Escalade than a regular cab for a few bucks more.

We had them run the meter. The driver told us that would be cheaper than the flat $45 fee. Sure enough, it was $38 and some change... So we still paid the $45, but that was with a nice tip I think it was just about that (maybe $42?) on the way back.

Edited to add: This was SNA to DI&S on Harbor.

I have always offered them flat rate $35 + gratuity to DLR and return, they have always taken it.

I am not very taxi savy, and have never offered to get a flat rate. I'm a wuss. Maybe I will get the guts to try this next time. Sounds like a great deal!

Great idea! I never thought of using uber.
