No, we would be using the bus service from the Polynesian to AK. Maybe I should just grab a cab to AK???Are you driving to the restaurant and then to the park?
Usually you can check in early, but it's no guarantee they will be able to seat you sooner.
I know it can depend on many variables, but does anyone have an idea of about how long I should budget time wise for an 'Ohana dinner? It is a 5:50 reservation time on a Saturday.
Thank you!
I have a FP in AK that that night which opens at 7:10 that I really would like to make. Do you think if we arrived a bit early (5:30ish) that would help?

This! I agree 100%.........Is the FP for FOP? If it's for FOP don't miss it. Cancel Ohana and eat at Satuli Canteen at Pandora. Greatest ride I've ever been on and literally the hardest FP to get right now. Ohana is my favorite dinner on property but I would drop it in a hot second if it meant getting on FOP!

Would you enjoy your experience at Ohana if you were stressed about timing? Ohana is an experience, not just a meal as a PP mentioned. And I would not rely on Disney buses. Even with a cab or Uber I can see adding another 20 mins to half hour to your timing, provided they picked you up quickly.
That's what I am thinking. I would like to enjoy my meal and not feel antsy/rushed to get out of there. The FP is for Na'vi River, I actually have 2 FOP fastpasses for later in my stay for FOP. That is why I wanted to keep the Na'vi one. I'm leaning towards just eating a relaxed meal at 'Ohana, don't worry about the FP for NRJ if it can't be changed and heading to AK for my ROL FP. Since my ROL FP is for the second show, maybe I will get in line for NRJ during the first ROL show.
Thanks for all the advice!
