What is the average cat lifespan?
My oldest cat Touchstone will turn 15 this year. Isn't that 95 in cat years?
She went thru a rough patch healthwise about a year ago where we thought we were going to lose her but she recovered and is more active now than she has been in years.
How old can cats be? Of course we hope she has LOTS of years left but realistically how long could that be?

My current cat is 13 and went through health troubles but now also as active and playful as ever!
My cat is going to live FOREVER............................just like my parents
He had a torn ear, a broken tail, scabby skin and the bulk of a sumo wrestler. He had only a few teeth and my mother would cook eggs for him every morning(the kids got cereal
) The day before he died (at age 19)we watched him stalk and beat up a dog who wandered into our yard. The next afternoon he wandered out to the flowerbed, lay down and died.
We missed ol's Socks. He was the Frank Sinatra of the cat neighborhood
