We had an Alice in Wonderland trailer, in 3D. Which looks fantastic too.

Our local multiplex recently remodeled a theater for "Extreme Digital" and 3D, it even has rocking seats like AMC Pleasure Island. DD and I saw New Moon there, but it was my husband's first trip. He and I saw it last Friday.

We agreed with the reviews that say that Cameron just raised the bar by about 10 feet. It was so immersive and mesmerizing. I cried a couple of times, and closed my eyes a couple of times too. I realize that the story is cliche', but most are. To me it matters that I fall in love with the characters, and I did. Zoe Saldana is pretty amazing (and heartbreaking) big and blue. I really liked the Jake character too, a new favorite actor for me. We also appreciated the touches of humor. DH can't wait to see it again. DD saw it in 2D and loved it just as much. We plan to take her again to experience it in 3D.

My opinion is that this is a unique experience that won't be repeated for a long time. Well, at least not until the sequel comes out.

We can hope. James Cameron has a pretty good track record with sequels - Aliens, T2, and the American classic - Pirahna 2:The Spawning.
