We are in the process of buying a resale at teh VWL. IF all goes well, we will close by October. We would like to do our usual vacation in April (1-6) in a 1 bedroom.. Do you think we will have a chance at getting a reservation being only 6 months out? We'd like to stay at VWL or BWV, but there is no BAD place at Disney in our opinion. I'd like to book our flights as soon as possible, but if there's a chance we couldn't get in anywhere... :hourglass

If the April 1-6 is a common springbreak time for school children for 2007 you prob wont be able to get all the days at BWV or VWL, prol have to waitlist them.

As others have already noted the 1st week of April can be tough because of the spring break/Easter crowds.

But personally I think you have a chance because you know what your prefer but you are also flexible. It's been my experience that flexibility is one of the most important factors in getting reservations when you want them.

We are going to WDW for a month in Feb 2007. We own at BCV. At the 11 month mark we reserved a studio at BCV just to make sure we had things covered. But, we knew we really wanted to stay in a 1 bdrm and spend a couple of weekends at Fort Wilderness Campground in our RV to conserve some points. We also wanted to stay at WLV for 5 nights and the rest of the time at BCV.

The wife called about 10 days ago and while we didn't get exactly what we wanted we did get 6 nights @ BCV studio, followed by 5 nights @ WLV 1 bdrm, followed by 2 nights @ Fort Wilderness, then 5 nights @ OKW 1 bdrm, then 2 nights @ Fort Wilderness, and finally 5 nights @ BCV 1 bdrm for a total of 25 nights. This was all at the 7 month window.

I realize that going in February is not the same as going in early April but I remain confident that if you are flexible you should get what you want, or something pretty close to it.

Good luck
