Hmmm - no fall leaves here in Orlando - but today was a beautiful FALL - day - actually a little 'nip' in the air this evening as the sun was going down! Palm trees don't change colors!!!!

I'm loving these photos!

I have to admit fall is the ONLY season I miss living in Florida! I spent my college years in the Adironacks in NY right on a lake with a beautiful mountain as the backdrop and even in PA we had some beautiful foliage! Nothing beats those cool misty mornings of autumn!!!

How about a large fall wreath from Sea World...

Autumn? It's not here. It was in the 90s most days last week and will be in the 80s this week. Autumn (and Fall colors) usually arrive here in November.

Was able to come up with a few.
First one is from way back. Taken in 1991 with my old Nikon N6006. Not a very good scan. But it does the job:

This one I took yesturday while on a Down Syndrome Buddy Walk fund raiser. I think we have another week or so before we hit peak season in our area, but the colors are starting to show. There have been reports that this year should be one of the best because of the wild weather we've had. We'll see!:

This is beautiful and reminds me of when my dh and I were first married - we rented a small "carriage house" on Sheridan Drive, in Lake Forrest - it looked like that - totally golden. It was truly one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen in the fall! Thanks for sharing that awesome photo!

Thanks for all of the excellent pictures everyone! WoW! We've got some talented photographers on this board! Since it's raining here today, I've got time to look through my pictures and post a couple more!

I hope to take some more pictures over the weekend. A lot of the trees are getting bare already, before others are even turing! It's a crazy year!
